I really want to pre-order too, but funds are a bit short until next week. Unfortunately it'll be after the release date!

Thanks for the head's up about this!
Very interesting listening...
This episode seems to be about Herbert List, a photographer. I really like the music.

The radio voice sounds so much like Giovanni Giorgio Moroder. He does the intro on the song Giorgio on Daft Punk's Random Access Album.

I pre-ordered a copy last month from Amazon, which is just now shipping for delivery tomorrow. I ordered a copy for my daughter on Saturday morning and hers was just delivered.

I hoping to pick up my copy at B&N later today, but in the meantime I noticed that there's a cipher contest:
http://www.mulhollandbooks.com/s-cipher-contest/
Quote:
Midnight in the Old Quarter of a city where river meets sea. Hypnotic
fog caresses stone, glides over water, pulses in the dark beyond the harbor.
Never cry out when you're shoved from the dock; never fear the sharks, the storms, the depths. This is the closest thing to freedom.
Swim like you still have power. Swim like they fear you're able. Swim with
xebec swiftness through chop and wind, through blistering sun and frigid gloom.
Cherish each stroke, each breath, each gulp of ocean–the music of a mortally beautiful waltz, ever to ring through seas and skies.
I assume we'll need the book...

I'm in Hello all, popping my head out to say I'm in.
Coming in a little late, I saw this topic last night. Bought my copy tonight at B&N. Amazingly well made book, very pleased in the quality. Also listened to the first broadcast of Radio Straka which was also very well done.
Looks like it will be a fun ride.

Twitter book quotes Still listening to the Radio Straka broadcasts, going over the twitter feed, and examining the book and its contents. I noticed one tweet mentions text in the book that does not exist, as least not where is says it does.
All other quoted text I have been able to find.

This was just retweeted by @RadioStraka:
Seems to be a collection of pictures containing that stylized-S.
EDIT: I picked up the book, btw. It's really well-done!

So a little late on this, but I'll be getting my book in the mail on Tuesday(had I known I could have picked it up in Barnes and noble, I'd have it by now).
Anyways, is there a wiki, or a "Story so far" for this book?
