It's almost as if they are closing this thing out by leaving us hanging big time. I have a sneaky feeling that there is a character we have yet to be introduced to.

I have had this [spec] since Sunday that the artifact was actually accelerated instead of shut down. "Normally" when things are shut down there generally isn't a massive surge of energy. The surge could have turned something on light years away, as well as alerted the covenant. Who would want such a thing accomplished?

My wild spec for the day.

well, i was thinking, "maybe the triangles, lines, dots conversation was a fake"... but then i thought "no, the gu herzog was talking to was real"... and then i thought "what if the whole conversation was faked?" but then i thought about the fact that it was a call, so it probably couldn't be faked... but then i thought "what if it was just all faked? the call, herzog and mckaskil (sp?) where just recordings, etc"... and then i thought i shouldn't talk to myself anymore... (:

Not possible, unless it later becomes apparent that Rani didn't meet Herzog either in week7_subject4.wav.
