Anyone cracked the code at this site? Any thoughts on how this ties in? http://www.exoleaks.com/

I didn't think there was enough in that image to warrant puzzling over.
I also am under the assumption that, as we got to that site from an OOG promotional site, it's only meant to come into play later; Kryptex'll probably mention it at some point (if he's not also the one writing it).

Well I got an image of the object. There was some writing on it. Besides that our friend asked me to take another picture so I have to wait for that to come through.
I could screencap for everyone, but it wasn't a very good picture, and I assume everyone's going to get to it eventually.

Well - regarding codes - a couple items
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The blog has the article with all these symbols. When you take a picture of the reflective object - looking at the symbols, they look the same/similar. So I am guessing there is a link, maybe a language, again I am not a great puzzle cracker, so no idea what they might be saying, but looks like a relation
blog - go here - http://www.whatisextrasolar.com/ and scroll down to bottom - there is a link to a crazy person blog - http://www.exoleaks.com/ - look at the posted last month article

So after taking a second picture, K sent a message with a link to the blog, but shortly after I was told we needed more of the writing. So I'm off to go beyond the red line.
So it would be my assumption we're not meant to decipher it or anything.

Close up of alien letters So I'm also heading beyond the red line but here is a close-up of the letters that my rover took.

well the blog mentions the hex being the basis - I am not a codebreaker, but I suspect there is a bit on there that could be used to crack it, and yes, I am off to cross the red line as well
has anyone else found 5 species yet? I have 4...

I have found 6 or 7 now. Once you find 5 you get a new mission to find 10.

Well I've found 5 so far. Hopefully I'll be finding some more soon.
I think I'm a bit farther ahead then everyone, so I really don't want to spoil anything for those that are proceeding ahead.

I'm a couple minutes away from crossing the line at this point (or at least from getting an image from there. Supposedly the rover makes its movements in like an hour.).
EDIT. Okay, to be honest part of me expected that... sigh... moving forward...

@duke haha. Well you were warned about it!
My task list is actually getting a bit bigger. I'm kind of having to take it slow, in case I can pinpoint audio.

So have any of you had this happen yet
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
When you take your first rover in, it gets destroyed, but not really destroyed but taken apart methodically - studied. Also, there was this business about a fire ruining equipment on your new rover. Thoughts on the fire and the take apart?

So there is now a definitie choice to go one way or the other - have any of you explored either of these yet and have suggestions which to do first?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So I can either go and try to tag the bristlecone animal/motobiont or go after the EM source - any thoughts on which to do first?
And what about that sound obelisk? thoughts?

I'm doing the first, then circling around to do the second by way of a task you might not have yet (from kryptex) while passing by some things I saw in the distance on the way there. Gonna take me a few days...

Yawn...still documenting/tagging, basically bumming
around the continent. The 4 hour wait is a pain; one
of my many missions is even telling me to head all
the way back near the lander.
Conspiracy plot has really slowed down the past few
days, at least for me. No new updates from exoleaks.com
either.
Tip for finding plant species: zoom the map in really
tight and take your rover to areas with lots of
shrubbery/purple coloring. Don't waste your
panoramic or infrared shots.
EDIT: Finally got to this obelisk. Now we're cookin.
