<joke>Alright, I guess this was the last entry since the first two seasons had 26 episodes apiece. What a great way to end the series.</joke>

Not really much to discuss, honestly. Jay's free and has a camera. Tim's doing his own thing and has a camera. Who know if Hoody has a spare camera? Everyone seems to be gunning for Alex, though. Definitely seems like we're coming to a close.

Because you probably enjoy talking with other people who enjoy this thing that you also enjoy. Smile

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Also, this place seems to be a place to discuss the entire aspect of the story, which does include the out of game pacing in addition to the in game pacing, and long waits OOG that don't match up with the in-game time (which people had good reason to believe were supposed to be synchronized) can knock some people out of the suspension of disbelief a story like this requires of its audience, especially if you're a fan for the ARGish elements. It's a legitimate criticism when it negatively impacts the story itself, or at least the elements of the story that are built around it. Note that most long wait times in between Entries don't have this problem, so it's actually very rare for this complaint to be legitimate criticism story-element wise, IMO. (Granted, I've never really thought of MH as anything other than "ARG-like", and was mostly unaware until relatively recently that the community considered it as one, and one that the IG timeline matched the OOG timeline. So eh...).

Also, there isn't too much to really dig into on this one, as Beidah mentioned. It's a setup entry. We could do a few circles on what that final warning is in reference to (last chance to do...what?), we could bring up a few other things, but really not much was given in context of the larger story other than that we now know that Jay is free, and we may have two protags to follow,...but like everything else, it seems to depend on the next entry and what happens there to see where the dice that started rolling in this one fall.

EDIT: Did a poor job of quoting.

EDIT 2: Added another point

Nah, we've known Hoody has had a camera since Entry #61. It's possible it's the same camera from Exit.

ETA: Did anyone else notice the missing time? The camera blacks out and when it comes back Jay is unbound, Hoody is gone, and had enough time to leave a message for Jay and escape, all without Jay noticing. Something important must have happened in the gap.

What I meant was, Hoody didn't give up his own camera to Jay; the one he left was Jay's own camera, which Hoody somehow got back from Tim. Which would mean 1) we're back to the status quo, with Hoody and Jay each having a camera, and 2) something bad might've happened to Tim.

If any of that happened at all. I'm fairly sure it's just a WMG Very Happy .

Uh...

Are we seriously supposed to buy Jay was tied up there for 15 days with no food or water?

This is after we're being expected to buy that both Jay and Tim took almost 2 months to get round to checking out an address Alex was supposedly at. Under the circumstances, it makes no sense that Jay took 3 weeks to watch a tape, over a month to ask Tim about said tape and 15 days to be freed from his bonds. This is why people are suggesting OOG time =/= IG time because it makes no goddamn sense. But the thing is, OOG time IS IG time because at the end of Entry #77, Tim said Jay's been acting dangerous over the past few months. Why haven't they planned this out better? This is just ridiculous. Put some effort into making this series make sense, geez. And less over-a-month wait times for a short entry in a main actor's house followed by an even shorter entry in that same house.

The really sad part is these are the final entries and this is when they decide to thoroughly bury any remnants of suspension of disbelief deep into the earth.

"few" is a relative term though. to me, its anywhere from like 3-6 months

Bizarro theory of the day:

The Operator sign isn't actually a sign for TO and never has been. It's TTA's signature. The random places where it's drawn on the walls/ground are places he's marked as a "I was here" kinda thing. And Alex tends to draw it because... *theory collapses and Joker is killed by falling pieces of theory*

Last chance to find Alex? Last chance to find Tim? Last chance to get it right before Hoody does...something to Jay?

Last chance before everyone runs out of health insurance to pay for extra pills, Alex runs out of ammunition, Hoody runs out of spare cameras, and Jay runs out of ineffectual hero luck.

One thing: We now know that Entry #77 wasn't a trap by Tim and Jay, as some speculated in the #77 thread.

@Craig Digsby: Good point, I forgot about that idea, it's a shame, I liked the thought of that

@GeekGirl: I really like your new avatar Smile

I can't think of anything constructive to say about the entry that hasn't already been said, it's going to be interesting seeing if this thread gets 30-something pages, if so on what topic

Man, I was just going to say that it would be cool if the perspective of the next few entries shifted around from the three camera-toting people (Jay, Tim and Hoody). Then I read that (which didn't even cross my mind before) and I realize that that would be several dozen degrees cooler. Bravo, sir or madam, for going there, and introducing some extra Fridge Horror to a series which doesn't lack it.

I do find it strange that Hoody would have filmed his rescue of our intrepid Jay. It feels almost like he's warning Tim as he does it. ("He's out now, and he's pissed. Oh, and increasingly unstable.")

Am I the only one who heard a pill or two rattling in the last bottles Jay picked up, and assumed that he pocketed them? I rewound it a couple of times, and I still hear it, though I could be wrong (and my hearing isn't what it used to be).

I don't usually reply much (look into the Entry 77 thread and you'll know why) but I have to say, this was a decent entry.

I wonder how things are going to go down now. Who is teaming up with who and what not.

It looks like it is just an edit. Probably Jay wanted to save us the time of watching him trying to get unbound with a knife.

And what is Jay not noticing?

The way I interpreted things was that Jay fainted after whatever Hoody did to him. Krae's right, Hoody needed some time to write the message on the wall. This might imply that Hoody has some control over trances; alternatively, and probably more realistically, Jay struggled with Hoody and Hoody was forced to knock him out or something.
