On the show's game-within-a-series concept: "I think it's interesting because it sort of breaks the barriers of how you tell stories. As technology advanced so dramatically and so exponentially in the last 10 years, it created all these opportunities. And being a product in some sense of that technological change and evolution, I was just naturally interested in ways in which you could use this new technology to tell stories differently. And, also, there's nothing like a cheap gimmick to get people to watch your show."

whatdaya think it means? That they never intended to finish PN or that maybe cancelling the show is just a cheap gimmick to attract wiewers on Thursday so they can tell us afterwards that the reason they're not cancelling the show is really because so many people did watch it on Thursday? Confused The latter's my theory.

I think the cheap gimmick line is a quote from some TV interview Affleck gave before the show started. Maybe Regis?

Yeah, it was from before the show started. What I find ironic about it is the disregard shown for the online aspect, as if the only concern for the online aspect is to try and get more viewers/better ratings.

Note to Ben: It doesn't work.
