Wait does nobody see that it spells out A Ruse? as in the word meaning a trick or to fool someone?

I suspect this is all we are getting.

Or maybe the sentence "The missing letters are a ruse" is meant to be taken literally. As in, the letters "A-R-U-S-E" are the missing letters.

My guess would be on the map page where it says "Start at the poles:" and then it has 5 underlines, which could be the place to put the letters...?

just a odd question but did anyone who lives in the US receive one? It could be a delay due to Vets day, as well as maybe Servent has better access to Europe Post offices.

looking on the twitter figured I would update on something I saw. Servant mentioned that a dash was missing from the page, obviously implying that the 'Powers' had altered it on the way there. Could be an error but might be worth it for those who received pages to look into missing items.

So this is the prologue, which is supposed to give us an idea as to the nature of the portals, in other words these are the type of puzzles we can expect in the future? And we have to wait for another 12th before he can release the next batch of clues? I hope the Servant means midday sometime 'cos waiting another month will kill me!!

EDIT: because I missed a whole page of posts... what can I say, I'm not awake yet Rolling Eyes

Ummm I like the theory of the letters being ARUSE

Specially because there is a place in our planet called Aruse. It is in Ethiopia. Not sure if it is a clue or just a red herring

Awesome job guys and girls! I've been lurking here and tried to solve things on my own.
If I'm not completely wrong, I think that everyone who got a letter lives in the UK, right? So, there's no pattern who gets a letter, it's just what's the most convenient for the PM Razz
