Earliest I've caught one in a while; had a feeling it'd be out tonight. Not really sure what to say about it yet though...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
st 10:35 i hear a faint distortion/technolody sort of noise. probably irrelevant

My thoughts so far though: All Spoilers kinda

As Jay runs down the steps, I hear the sound of pills clattering.

The Benedict Hall sign was clearly placed by the cast OOG, or it could be Hoody that gave it the name itself.

On the wall in the secret room: Blood Hand prints next to the door

Well, looks like I can finally calm myself down. I thought that they might end this series without answering the question about what the ark is, but it seems like we're getting to that part right now! Now that I've seen this entry, I don't think there are very many entries left to go at all. It may end on 82 or 83. I'm going to miss this series a lot once it concludes. I've been a fan for a few years now. It's going to suck to never have the experience of watching a new entry for the first time ever again. Eh, but I'm going to be happy to finally see the ending.

I suspect some will call this filler, but I was shaking throughout. Some notes:

- Is Alex dead? I get the feeling that someone was killed in that room with the knife. But the sign said find Alex in Benedict Hall.
- I suspect that Tim will notice that Jay uploaded Entry 78 and 79, and Entry 80 will be from Tim's perspective. Maybe we'll even get and Entry 79.5 where it's just Tim talking to the camera as a message for Jay.
- Gah! I have all of the muscle mass of the Slenderman, with the athletic coordination that Jay had in Entry 40 where he was running into the tree to escape the Operator. Even so, I'd like to think I could have tackled Hoody and taken the mask off. His swinging looked kind of drunken.
- I thought Hoody would run into Tim and there would be an altercation. Unless Hoody can teleport (which, given that Masky can mess with Jay's memory like the Operator, is possible I guess), I don't see any suspicious connection between his escape and Tim's appearance, other than Tim is at the college to find Hoody and Alex.

We've been cockteased with a Hoodie unmasking so many times that I've lost interest over who he is.

They're just making it more obvious with each entry he appears in.

They will make it more and more obvious to the point where it isn't necessary to show his face to know who he is

Hell, it's even pretty obvious at this point, it'd be pretty surpriseless to show his face right now

Great entry. Answers are forthcoming.

I wonder if Hoody would have reacted less violently if Jay had kept his distance and asked something like "do you need help?" or "are you okay?" instead of approaching him as he did?

For now, I'm keeping an eye on it from nearby.

Does this rather ambiguous quote from Jay mean that he's staying in the area and checking back frequently to see if a door to Benedict Hall happens to be open the next time he comes around? Or is he literally talking about sitting at that window and staring at it until something happens? (The only thing that makes this question even remotely plausible is the fact that Jay is Jay, and his ideas tend to not always be the brightest. Wink )

In all seriousness though, I liked this entry. I didn't quite understand the ending, but I suppose it was just to create a cliffhanger effect. I was really hoping that we'd see more from Hoody, though, but I guess that brief interaction and hearing him coughing was more than we've ever gotten in the past. I'm really excited to see where the next couple of entries will take this story!

As an aside, this new location is really neat, and it's perfect for this series. I especially liked that it had just rained when this entry was filmed. I wonder if they tried to plan the shooting around the weather at all, or if it was just a happy coincidence. Made the effect of the location feel that much more eerie and secluded.

Hmmm. "Find Alex, find the Ark". Did anyone else get flashbacks to "save the cheerleader, save the world"?

And I'm very worried about that scalpel/penknife. Was indeed left for Jay? And by whom? Was it Hoody, Tim, or someone else? And what is it for? Best case scenario: Jay uses it to cut Alex free (for whatever reason made him think that was a good idea). Worst case scenario: someone needs to be bled, and the scalpel is just more efficient for that. Worst worst case: Jay will have to spill his own life's blood, because he's become so corrupted by the Operator's influence that he's not very different from Alex.

Stunning entry; had me on edge the entire time. They did great with this one.
Anyway, Hoody is as mysterious and creepy as ever, but what really disturbs me is the lack of the Operator. Last time it appeared was 72, if I recall correctly. I wonder what it has been doing since then... Watching from the shadows? Protecting the Ark? Has it abandoned Alex? To me, just thinking about it really sends shivers down my spine. Its motives are still very unclear.

You are correct about the last time The Operator has been seen in the CURRENT time, however it was seen in Entry #76 (but that entry takes place way back.) Just clarifying.

Apparently we were all wrong about the chest cam being broken after #72, else why would Tim be wearing it? But where was he/what was he doing that he had to come back to his car to get it? And why didn't he use it before now (in #74 he was using Jay's handheld to film)? And if the chest cam works, why did Tim steal Jay's camera in #77?

My boring theory is that the camera Hoody left for Jay was the same camera and they didn't have any others.

Did Jay just find the underground building from entry 22?
