Success!

I received a letter from the wife if the dead man who was sending me the information. The letter said that she was forwarding me an envelope as per instructions she found in her husbands effects.

It was a large glossy photo of the pic on the website, with hand drawn circles in pen, and 4 numbers on the back. The numbers were the correct answer ( 4711) and the correspond to the number of benches, cracks, cups, and blue items in the photo in that order.

I have to say, that looking at the photo it would be difficult to get the correct number of benches ( the last one is small, and in the background) as well as accurately count the number of cracks in the pavement.

Never the less, I have confirmation that the item is on its way, and I'll share photos with everyone when it arrives!

The box arrived and as expected, the key fit the lock (and the serial number on the key matches both the barcode and the brass plate on the front) and inside was...

A statue of what appears to be an orca in the style of the pacific northwest Native Americans. Photos of everything are linked below.

The statue is solid, and is supposed to be brass (with verdigris), but I'm not sure what it is actually made of.

There were no other clues anywhere else in the box, on the statue, etc. I expect that once interested parties hear that I have the statue, that I will be contacted by them and I will be sure to post here!

The Mystery is solved!!

The 3 month experience / ARG was purchased for me by one of my very good friends and I cannot thank him enough!

Just found this post via the MPC members' forums. Very cool! I recently ordered a mystery for my girlfriend, and I've been anxious to see what is on its way. Thanks for sharing your experience!
