I still want to know who's bloody hand prints those were. And what purpose they served.

I have kind of an idea, that they were theatrical. That is, they were there just to give credence to the implication that someone was being held and possibly interrogated there. So, maybe Hoody cut Alex just a little, and then made the prints himself -Alex's blood, but Hoody's hands. That could explain the penknife.

I suppose it's possible that Alex made them during his escape (if such a thing actually happened), but I don't think so. The hand prints aren't smeared or or draggy; they're perfectly formed prints. whoever did it would've had to carefully press his hands flat against the wall and pull them straight back. Which would serve no purpose except to make bloody hand prints.

Then again, this assumes that the hand prints are really made in blood, and not some other red substance. It looks the wrong color for dried blood to me, but I think we had that same argument about the bloody sink in entry #16.

Why would Hoody simply waste his time making bloody hand prints, what purpose do they serve? But if only Jay looked up that cloth that was mentioned earlier, It's like he keeps skipping plot relevant items like Jessica's safe in Entry #33, maybe he will go back for the cloth later.

On one hand you have a good point, it could all be a trap set up by Alex. However on the other hand, Hoody is wandering the place, and I'd assume that if that was the case Hoody would have come to the fake torture scene and dispose of it before Jay was stupid enough to fall for the bait.

Then again, Maybe hoody wants Jay to fall for the trap to make his own job easier.

I've seen this mentioned multiple times, and I have to say: I don't believe there was anything relevant in Jessica's safe. The only reason Jay tried the combination on her safe is because that's where he found it. If you find a combination sitting right on top of a safe, it seems reasonable to assume it opens that safe. I actually questioned why he made the leap to trying it on his safe; what reason did he have to think she might have the combination to his safe? I guess it was the same "hunch" that lead him to break into Alex's apartment while he was taking out the trash, lol!
