I was followed too. I don't see much on that site but I am limited to mobile viewing at the moment so will have a look again tomorrow.

I first got an email including her father's letter. Then I was followed on twitter and found the website. She's quite active on twitter and she also created a blog http://crossingstories.wordpress.com/
EDIT: In the blog she explains that she created the website on her father's request and that it contains puzzles "to attract the right people". She said that at the moment there's two puzzles, but she can't tell what they are. I'm guessing the names on the home page is one of them.

Crossing stories
Magellan: first to cross the Pacific
Lindbergh: First solo crossing of the Atalntic in a plane
Joseph Strauss: Chief engineer of the Golden Gate Bridge crossing Golden Gate straite
Komurhan: Bridge crossing the Firat river in Turkey
There may other options for Strauss that are a better fit.
*Edit for stuff*
Just put this in the players form on the site and got this message flash up

Hi Spoonhead! Quite intriguing. Reckon Joseph Strauss is a super fit & thinking along the same lines am awaiting a reply from Katya re my 'players' msg below:

I am not that active on twitter, so I haven't checked and doubt I was followed, but the story so far is interesting.
So are we to believe that we have until this weekend to help find the key, before access to the father's belongings is lost?

So, got a reply to my email
Quote:
This is great! So: Pacific, Atlantic, Golden Gate, Firat (does that river go by any other names?)
Thank you so much for your help!
The question is, now what should we do with this information?
Kind of a verification methinks.
Firat is also known as the Euphrates, so take what Katya has given us
Pacific
Atlantic
Golden Gate
Euphrates
take the initials and you get PAGE.
Maybe Helen Keller can give us a number?
Also, check the home page on the website. Bank Of England is a given.

Ahaha Spoon...we're so frequently riding the same train and am seeing from Wiki-Fu The Delaware River and Delaware Bay watershed in that yellow area.

.. and the most famous crossing of the Delaware River was by Gen George Washington and troops on Dec 25-26, 1776 during the American Revolutionary War.
