[SPEC] What are the odds of getting a DVD from Dana?

As someone who has been 'playing' this since before the first countdown went off, but who has never been closer than 5 hours to an axon, I was wondering what you think my chances of getting a DVD from Dana are? After months and months of spending so much time with this ARG (as much as I could being distant from the axons), I'd get kind of upset if nothing came of it. Rather, that I would be 'left out' while other people are benefitting from as much, or less, involvement.

And what of our non-American beekeepers? Many of them were far more involved in the community than I was, but we dont even know if Dana will ship overseas.

I dont mind not being able to play Halo 2 tonight, I can understand why there is so limited a venue for that. But it would just suck not to get an official dvd =(

yeah...

and what to those of us with few posts. I have been in this, contributing where i can, in forums and in chat, but never really posted a lot. i went to axons but all of them were duds or taken by another.i just feel there should be some way to justify who gets a dvd and who doesnt. I mean i'm overjoyed to have had this experience, but whatever is on that dvd could make the experience that much greater and even show my friends what i have been up to all these times i've just sat on the computer reading and catching up during school.

eek i hope I get one too.

Silly axons being in cities and me living in the 'burbs. I've been following along since the Slashdot story, though.

I don;t mean to sound snarky, but there were plenty of ways to be "trusted crew" that didn't involve payphones or posting here.

I agree 100%. I've been following this thing from 2 days after it started (never regretting it, mind you). Of course, living in Canada, and getting to the puzzles too late, I couldn't do anything. As soon as I heard we could get the DVDs, I sent mail to Dana. Unfortuantely, She hasn't responded in 2 days... I even offered to pay postage.

I still don't regret being a part of this game but this leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, at the very least, I'd like to get some kind of message saying something like: "If there are left over copies, I'll send you one" or at the very least, some kind of explanation why I can't recieve one when I've follwed it since the beginning. I dunno.... Maybe I'm just jealous or something... After all, I'll get it one way or another *coughtorrentingcough* but still....

These things will be addressed after tonight. So if you don't receive an email by 9 PM tonight, send her another email today and tomorrow.

Yeah be patient because they had to do R.S.V.P's for all the people at the training event. I also have been following ilovebees since the beginning. I have been on this forum (mostly as a guest) until now. There was an axon in my town but it was a dud (turns out the week after it was activated it broke which meant my trip in the rain was for nothing). I agree that there should be a way to weed out the Halo players who dismissed this ARG from Phase 1 from the people who have been enticed by this game from the beginning until now. Plus as ive said before i want to show my friends what ive been doing (so they dont think im crazy) and I want to have something to remember the four months when I checked i f'ed up site everyday just to find out that i do truly love bees.

*Edit* I realized that we might die of wanting a dvd because i mean why would they go through the trouble of making cache locations that anybody could do to if they were planning to send it to everybody. Im just hoping that the company (i forgot the ARG companys name!) will be nice enough to make more...or let us pay 4 one...then again if its just the wavs thats it we could just make one ourselfs.

You could have entered any of the games with the Princess, such as the art projects or the axon pictures (which didn't require you to actually be at an axon, just a payphone).

Plenty of people, including a friend of mine, got into the crew at that point without having answered any axons up to that point.

Hopefully they will be selling copies to those of us, that were for one reason or another were not able to be a trusted crew member.

D'oh. Stupid me. That must have been during the week I was away... Thanks all the same, though.

Guys, don't worry. They'll inevitably put it on the online store eventually.
