Hell, why not? Here's my info.

I have fairly good programming skills, though no experience with Flash.

I have a lot of creative ideas for puzzles. I'm in love with the English language, so a lot of my puzzles are word oriented. However, I am a comp sci/math minor, so I am pretty adept at creating number puzzles as well.

I have some good ideas for some interesting ARGs that haven't been done before.

I have some creative writing history.

I don't know what else to say. If you're interested in throwing some ideas around, e-mail me at handelmanSPLATgmail.com.

Hey all. Got into the ARG realm through I Love Bees and am currently hosting my own ARG on a small youth website. Here's my info:

Extensive acting experience including lead roles in Godspell, Chicago, Noises Off, Twelfth Night, The Man who Came to Dinner, as well as various acting jobs in public schools around two cities.

7 years music experience, currently lead singer and guitarist of two bands.

Experienced in grammar and creative writing. Several minor articles and stories published over the last few years.

Growing experience in web and graphic design. Far from expert but example of work can be seen at ascendyouthdotcom. No spamming please, this is a youth site.

Successful run of my own ARG series (loosely based on several ideas from the ILB ARG) including puzzle writing, story development, recording audio scenes including full sound and ambient effects, etc.

I have to be careful about my time so if you're interested in having me help with something please be organized.

The one I mentioned in the beginning of my post:

It's actually still going on but because of the nature of the site it's kind of a closed site game. None of these kids have done an ARG before so I'm starting with simple puzzles and getting more and more complex.

Ok, well, I might have even entered a post before, but I didn't feel like looking and I have a feeling you're looking at fairly recent postings anyway, so.... Here's my goods:

I went to school for theatre direction/acting (more directing) So I know how to emote and produce emotion through various medium.

While I've not done anything you've heard of, I've done plenty of voice work, for different companies (no commercials or anything, just voice-mail systems, and the like)...

I read like a maniac, and I have a good story head, so I'm good at helping with plot twists, realistic characterizations, etc...

I can write decently, in my opinion, however, I've never really been publicly scrutinized, so this would be up to you to test, I suppose.

I own, (like most Americans these days,) a miniDV camera... nothing fancy, but it does allow me to shoot digital video and upload to the internet if you have a home for it... I'm a decent cinematographer, IMHO.

I've got a great (and boy do I mean awesome) sense of humor.

I'm no good at programming, but excellent at logic.

I dig on philosophy, hardcore, especially existence. I don't adhere to at all, but really like the idea and arguments behind solipsism. (And Kant was a crackhead. But a neat-o one... I actually wrote a philosophy paper entitled "Kant, a wise man. A Crackhead, but a wise man." Smile I got a B+! Rolling Eyes )

Um, yeah. I love puzzles but I'm not great at creating toughies.... I'm much better at plot, character, acting, and story arc...

Admittedly, my time is limited, and I won't have consistent internet until probably mid-January, but after that, my nights will be split between your ARG and feeding my new child, Katherine! (whoo-hoo) So, yeah...

PM me or email me at dorkmaster1(AT)gmail(dot)com. Best of luck with your ARG regardless! Cool

Another one

Full skills:
- HTML (Including XHTML and CSS)
- Sound manipulation (to make creepy effects)
- Puzzle making
- Writing, creative thinking
- Acting
- Good (but not excellent) web design

Limited skills:
- Photoshop
- Organization

I'd really like to get into a dynamic, true ARG where the decisions of the players have an impact on the plot and we may have to change all kinds of stuff on the fly based on what the players are doing.

Pick me

I would love to help work on an ARG with you guys:

By trade, I'm a coder, working with C/C++ w/3 year experience.
Also have good knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Java, BASIC, Perl, Python.
I'm creative, and love to solve puzzles. I already have a few ideas for puzzles from an ARG I've been writing up in my spare time. I don't want to go into details on that, because I want to have a full plan before I get people on board- but I am willing to adapt these puzzles for a new storyline.

Suffice to say, I have, what I consider to be, some very good ideas that would make a original ARG, one that hasn't been done yet. All I'm willing to say is I'm trying to come up with ideas that involve lots of puzzles that don't involve decrypting a lot of information to figure something out. Instead, I have been creating puzzles that mostly involve spotting details in many places, and then trying to piece that information together. But the key to this ARG is the format in which you recieve mission updates. The format is very condusive to an information overload setting, with many hints out there so lots of people can participate.
