As for the Slendy thing, I'm not sure what kind of point you're trying to make. Slendy didn't kill Habit in the woods for the reasons I said earlier; they're partners. And it also probably has to do with what Habit explained to Vince about people on the inside/outside. Slendy wasn't just gonna kill Evan there for the same reason he doesn't kill Vince. Anyway I kinda saw that as Slendy just taking Vince's body; an example of them sort of working together.

Unless you're trying to make some other point I'm not grasping. And anyway, Firebrand is a time traveler. He's existed at the very least since he appeared to Noah in that weird ass hotel room on Halloween. Didn't he like, carry Noah out of a fire when he was a child? Who are we to say Habit hasn't had the journal forever? Whose to say that hasn't always been why he's been immune, and Habit's just returning the favor now?

As for OOG, it's entirely plausible the group of them went "Okay the journal is for Slendy immunity, Habit has that, maybe he got is from Firebrand" and then wrote the plot from there. I dunno, I usually chalked most of Slenderman not murdering the shit out of Habit up to Slenderman not wanting to, not Slenderman not being able to, especially since it would just kill Evan anyway and Habit would go sauntering off. I only really see proof that Slenderman can't get to Habit in this video.

But even if he always has been Slendy immune during EverymanHYBRID, I don't see how that disproves the theory even a bit, and I certainly don't see how it's bad writing.

HABIT killed some proxies in the EMH vid Next. And Slendy is not the type of creature that would just let another entity take over a key person willingly, HABIT has some way of making him have distance, notice how in that video he is kind of just like "Whatever let him have 'em" after pouring gas on Jeff and the camera shows Slendy was just right there frozen not doing shit the whole time.

And I never said anything about bad writing that's that other guy I guess he's a douche idk

I remember awhile back...there was some kind of Twitter fight where its suggested that Slendy MIGHT be talking. Whoever it was, he was fighting with HABIT, and he said that "the children are mine". Slendy and HABIT are fighting over the control of the "cycle"

I mean, since we haven't seen Mike in awhile and the Slenderverse is prone to face change...

You're right those are proxies, I don't know how I forgot that.

Anyway, I'd rather not focus on how long Habit has been immune to Slendy throughout EverymanHYBRID, because I think my point stands that this deal between Habit and Firebrand may have been cemented a long time ago, especially since we're talking about time travel. Habit seemed upset when he heard Noah didn't have the Nazi journal yet. Why else would Habit care about Noah getting some kind of Slenderman "Pope bubble" unless he planned on getting his hands on it himself? Especially since, as you say, Habit seems to have had some kind of power for a while now.

I dunno. Habit's telling Noah this weird stuff and I doubt it's just to fuck with Slenderman. He asks Noah very specifically about the journal, and I have to think that's for a reason.

I really like this theory. It makes sense. One of the biggest reasons I like it is that it explains HABIT's motivation, something which was baffling me.

I really don't see how his theory is bad writing. If anything, it holds true with the already established method for TribeTwelve plot -- screw around with time and create paradoxes.
Don't forget, we're dealing with a time-traveling god and an evil demon with his fair share of time-warp experiences.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Plus, Adam has said that Doctor Who and Homestuck are two big influences on his plot writing. What do those both involve? Wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff. In fact, those are their themes.

Not trying to create problems, but, if what was the case? I don't understand this statement.

AssassinB wrote:
HABIT/Evan was shown to be stabbing proxies left and right as they just shamble towards his "house" that he acquired

It wasn't HABIT's house. It was Daniel's house.

I suppose I should completely rebut this argument, before I go any further.
The "proxies," as you called them (they don't really fit the common meaning of the term, but I digress), were heading to Daniel's house. Daniel, the friend of Vinnie and the gang. Daniel, their last surviving friend. All of Vinnie's other friends had been targeted and killed. I'm pretty sure that those people were there to kill Daniel, to tie up the last loose end.

Continuing on, if you re-watch "Next," you might notice that the people completely ignore HABIT when he first arrives. Why is that, if he and the Slenderman are enemies? If HABIT is the target, wouldn't they attack him? Rather, they just continue towards the house, where Daniel is, until HABIT attacks one of them. Then, inside the house, we see HABIT attack more people. Never once do we see one of them attack HABIT first.

Furthermore, once HABIT clears the house, we don't see any more people. With the number that was outside, you would think that we'd see more, right? Unless they were called off by the Slenderman...

I'm proposing that both the Slenderman and HABIT wanted Daniel dead. The Slenderman's minions arrived first, but HABIT really wanted to kill Daniel. So, being himself, HABIT took out any obstacles in the way (i.e., the people being controlled), showed the Slenderman that "you-aren't-the-boss-of-me," and then had his fun. The Slenderman, recognizing that HABIT was going to kill Daniel, pulled out his minions -- after all, he was still getting what he wants.

Sorry if that was unclear.

AssassinB wrote:
So while it would make sense that HABIT is only safe because of the time loop, why was he safe BEFORE he began interacting with Noah/Firebrand and he was able to douse Jeffs body in lighter fluid in plain sight of Slendy in the forest then just calmly walk back to his domain.

Same situation as Daniel. The Slenderman wanted Jeff dead, HABIT was killing Jeff. The Slenderman probably just wanted to watch -- nothing more. At no point is any animosity between them shown in that video. Furthermore, remember, it was "HABIT's turn." I take that to mean that the Slenderman had decided not to interfere.

AssassinB wrote:

How does it make no sense OOG?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Also, please remember to put OOG information in spoilers.

And don't forget, there is plenty of evidence showing that the Slenderman and HABIT are partners.|

EDIT: Just realized this, but, in "A Summoning", which chronologically is after "Next," HABIT calls the Slenderman a "friend." That seems pretty not-mortal-enemies kind of sentiment.

I agree with this. HABIT is an immortal demon in a mortal body. Killing HABIT wouldn't really achieve anything but make the Slenderman another enemy (though I doubt that it would be worried).

EDIT: I just realized that the Slenderman has good reason not the want HABIT as an enemy. Sure, HABIT would probably lose every single fight they have, but HABIT knows enough about the Slenderman, about his plans, and about magical stuff (like the symbols) that he could seriously screw up the Slenderman's plans. By doing stuff like, I don't know, severing the Administrator's control over every single Collective member?

Also, don't forget that HABIT only said that his house was invulnerable, not that he himself was invulnerable. That's important.

I already addressed the Michael thing in the EMH thread, and posted immediately after that OOG link was posted.

I like this theory a lot. It explains how Mr. Scars was able to disobey the Administrator's wishes.

I disagree, however, on the fact that it is HABIT's special knife. I think that HABIT was just being his usual self -- he said to "stick it with a knife," and he picked up the knife next to him for emphasis. I doubt that there is much more to it than that.

Sorry that I'm getting on you so much, but...
What makes you think that? And what makes you think that HABIT possessing Evan someone messes with the Slenderman's plans? We have no idea what the Slenderman intends to do in EMH, but I think that it is far more focused on Corenthal than on Evan.

Maybe. I still don't like the concept of the Slenderman tweeting. It's too much of a stretch -- and wild speculation -- for me to believe at this point.

Honestly, I'm more likely to believe that it was Corenthal than that it was the Slenderman.

^Thanks for saying you like my theory. Also like, word up to pretty much everything said here. In canyouseethewords and a variety of other things Habit has shown that he and Slendy are working together. All this stuff about "Slendy isn't the kinda creature to blablabla" is list like pure speculation; we have no clue what Habit and Slenderman's relationship is except they work together in some capacity and Habit kinda sees him as not being very much fun. And we really don't know what kind of creature Slenderman is either, so we can't just go making big, blanket statements like that.

I was gonna say this stuff in my last post but I mainly wanted to focus on the how it applied to my theory about Habit and the journal. So I focused on the fact that it doesn't matter how long Habit's had the journal, because of time travel. But yeah, totally not convinced Habit and Slendy are enemies. And yeah, totally agreeing that the other tweeter was Corenthal, considering he called them "my children".

Wut I didn't say that dog, that was that other guy.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions I have my premonitions and I stick with my gut and usually I end up being right, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I'm just gonna stick with mine and we'll see how things turn out.

Also I had no idea it was Daniels house, I thought Daniel just showed up. Where and when did anyone say that was Daniels house, actually?

I don't wanna argue on technicalities with you on a sub-culture that has wide terms so I'm not even going to get into that.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
And I'm not saying it's impossible OOG, just unlikely due to timing and whatnot, just my opinion.

What the fuck is this. Stop the crossovers already. I can't believe TT made a 20 minute video of fucking nutty Evan from EMH. Don't we see that bullshit enough on.. you know. EVERYMAN FUCKING HYBRID.

Total waste of a video. Tells us nothing like usual (EHM's apparent specialty). I'm not trolling here-This is my reaction to this video.

I hope Part 2 is posted soon...not including anyone else from any other Slenderman related series unless alex shows up and guns down Evan.

Hey everybody look, it's someone who doesn't like interesting slender series and well written plot-lines/crossovers.
[quote="AssassinB"]

I removed the pic just so the thread woudn't get stretched. I laughed.

Anyhow: My reaction to this video remains the same. It's a fucking REPEAT of the previous EMH episode when Habit talks to Vinny. We don't need to see the same shit on a different day on a different Youtube slendy series.

My second point is that Evan's fucking habit character has run its course. I literally don't want to listen to him talk in complete circles. Oh we learned the Eyeball graphic has to do with Slenderman. Holy shit. Really? Wow. Thanks for that revelation.

Each series this fucking garbage bag of crossovers involves has something inherently unique. TT has the time travel/time paradoxes, EMH has Habit, Dark Harvest has the Order. I like that. In fact I like Dark Harvest the most because they have the balls to ID Slendy.
There's no need for this. What if the aliens from Falling fucking skies come over and start killing the zombies from Walking Dead? Completely fine in this fucking world. Then King Joffrey can come along and cut the nuts off Jax from Samcro.

I know I'm taking that a bit far-but I'm just saying. Each one (Minus Marble Hornets) is trying to write this fucking epic storyline and the only one of them that has succeeded so far has been TT because the kid making it has some serious editing skills. Not to mention some excellent writing ability.

Move the storylines along and stop trying to be so grandiose.

It wasn't ever specifically stated, but I'm guessing that it was Daniel's house because he was hiding in a room on the top floor. If it wasn't his house, I can't think of any good reason as to how he got there.

Also, I don't think HABIT's house has a porch.

I won't argue with most of what he said either, although I think it's really silly to say it's a repeat of the Vinny video. What Habit is saying in the two videos is completely different. The tones aren't even the same. The only similarity is it uses the same character. That's like saying every Tribe Twelve video is a repeat of the last cause Noah is in all of them. Honestly besides Habit being in it the videos aren't even really similar.

I am a big fan of all Big Five Slenderseries (including DH and MLA). I like crossovers. If MLA would be included in to the big Slenderverse, it would be great. However...

I do not like the fact that HABIT at the moment is nothing more than a Villain Sue of the Slenderverse at the expense of Slender Man himself, which is a main sign of any Sue character. It's just bad writing.

HABIT is always many steps ahead of everyone, knows everything, he defeated (temporarily, but whatever) Slender Man himself, offed lot's of people on screen, controls the Rake (probably). As far as his powers go - it's a pure Villain Sue: he is unkillable, can transfer minds, teleport etc. - he can do much more than Slender Man.

Even worse, though - they try too hard to make him look all demonic and pure evil. Lot's of cliches including: "want to show someone's evil? Make him nazi collaborator", Joker mannerisms and baby-eating were used. If we are to assume that he is a legit character and not some form of meta-commentary, Slenderverse would always have a big trouble with writing out there.

Nope. Never would happen. Don't even hope for a glimpse of that ever happening rip off the band-aid now it will feel better.

Troy and the guys wouldn't collab with any of the side series.

Came on to say that the injury the guy had in the bathroom looked similar to the injury that Jay just received in Marble Hornets. However, Jay was not wearing a white shirt, so it is somewhat of a moot point. I'm curious as to who it is.
