I feel like they really stepped up from previous seasons, and that's saying something.

Yeah, that's why I'm not completely peeved yet.

Oh one other thing, the fact that they STILL conveniently forget they have a magic user on par with a demi-god with them absolutely baffles me. (oh no, how can we possibly get these dresses through the rain in time? It's not like I've been able to teleport with little to no effort for 2 seasons. I can fire insta kill lasers! But not when in any kind of dangerous situation.)

Only complaints I have, everything else has been awesome.

Yeah, the powers seem arbitrary sometimes. Also, I like how royalty can't seem to get a taxi.

Yeah there are a few theory's that come up with different ways to explain why someone with the magic power to move the sun one minute can suddenly become useless the next. Though personally I think they're just grasping at straws and it's the writers not knowing how to deal with magic powers.

The taxi thing made me lol too, I mean it would be understandable if they were in the middle of nowhere, but the news of new royalty would have reached a large town like manhatten...

We just had Christmas and New Year's. Can't really blame them. That said, I do keep checking Twitter for an unspoilery uninteresting screenshot and I need my fix.

My thinking at this point is that she keeps her activities and status low-key. Without the crown I barely notice the wings at all, so characters in the show might not either.

 		Something that just crossed my mind. Did Trosephim ever get permission to use the Slenderman or use its likeness in MH from 'Victor Surge'?

Tbh I dont think Victor ever cared. He let everyone create more photoshops without giving a shit, and Trosephim have also said they met the guy. I'm sure as Eren's mother is dead he's okay with it.

 		I listened to an interview with Victor Surge once in which it was discussed that he followed MH, and by all appearances he really doesn't mind. I and others suspect, though, that part of the reason for TO being TO instead of SM may be to make sure there's no real risk of stepping on anyone's toes. Recall that when MH started, SM was a lot less like TO than he is in most current Slender series- I'm not too clear on how all the legal stuff works, but I think TO is enough his own character (if very obviously *derived* from SM) that they didn't really need permission.

And yeah, by that point in the original SA thread SM was already a group character and MH was partially a response to someone suggesting that someone try to step up from photoshops to full videos of the character.

 		If you look at what Slenderman is now, it's more closely related to The Operator than The Operator is related to the original Slenderman (if that makes any sense.) A lot of Slenderman stuff now is derived from The Operator's take on Slenderman, especially since Slender: The Either Pages, which was obviously based on MH's Slenderman.
