Links? Or is it not out yet.

Nothing with the podcast is out yet. Just in Troy's blog post he said they'd start adding things and a podcast was one of them.

Oh, they're starting their own podcast. That should be neat. I never was able to get them for an interview on MO.

Speaking of, I guess I should kill Marble Operator, right? Nah.

I wouldn't retire it, but I would think about at least screening who you have on and skipping introductions/having set things you want to talk about to eliminate pauses. Keep a timely schedule, and also throw in more "fun behind the scenes facts" to keep people interested, I know I stopped listening because most of the episodes were just a recap to entries which just summarizes things I've already seen, and reactions to those entries which were usually basic reactions that didn't really entice me enough.

IMO it would be best to have a set co-host, or just do it yourself (similar to dissecting dexter.) Bringing on random people all the time ensures fans will never remember any of them. Things are more meaningful if we can attach ourselves to a person who will be on every week. I would also get rid of talkshoe or w/e it's called, and just stick to itunes, the podcast intro with that is super awkward.

I actually agree with some points you have mentioned here, albeit on a much smaller level. I absolutely love listening to the podcast, but if you were to try improving it, this would be a good place to start.

Listening to the podcast now. Fun to listen to. I was just reminded why I don't bother with stereo recording when I edit podcast episodes (it adds nothing of value).

Good to hear they have their own podcast.

I wouldn't drop the podcast altogether man, though once MH concludes you'll probably stop anyway. I suggest that maybe Trosephim would come on the show after the series concludes, as for now they might feel like they'd have trouble answering questions openly or in a detailed fashion and accidentally giving things away.

It would be cool if your final episode featured Trosephim. It would be a hell of a way to go out, and I would wager they would probably throw a bone like that to a superfan who spread their popularity a bit for them.

It was pretty good until they spent like an hour just talking about the oscars. Weird they'd call the oscars boring then talk about what they find boring. Although the Speed Racer parts were funny. I think my favourite bit of the podcast was Tim pointing out that season 3 has almost gone on as long as S1 and S2 combined and Troy saying he was intending for season 3 to only last a year. Got a laugh out of that. And interesting to hear they had planned to release what turned out to be such a long season in such a comparatively short amount of time.

I also kind of found it interesting that even they don't know when it's going to end, meaning an actual date or even a general time frame.

I think they know, but have to play dumb because otherwise some of the suspense and mystery is lost.

Since I know the trio browse unfiction from time to time:

I did enjoy that podcast, but not the oscar segment whatsoever. Even if it is three people I enjoy listening to talking about it, the subject matter was bland and unrelatable for me. I like that they're familiar with geek culture and not afraid to embrace it.

With MH coming to an end, I kind of hope they give us one "behind the scenes" fun fact every episode. They know only the hardcore MH fans will be the ones listening to their station for the first few months, so what's wrong with giving us little bite sized pieces regarding things they know will not affect future entries? Not saying they have to talk about MH if they don't want to, just think they could use it as a platform to give the hardcore fans some background info on things they probably won't ever elaborate on IG

That would be really cool.

It'd be cool but I doubt they're going to be throwing too much MH stuff in it. It's a THAC/Trospehim Podcast, not a Marble Hornets podcast.
