[OT .. kinda] Nothing is coincidence? I just realized something.
When I went to get my DVD at the theater (Catalina, Tucson AZ), I saw that one of the movies playing was "I Heart Huckabees."
It didn't dawn on me until now. Did anyone else notice this, or was this movie playing at any of the other theaters where they were handing out DVD's?

urm... I think that's just a regular mainstream movie. So it would probably be playing at a lot of theaters. In fact, it's playing where I live, and I'm no where near anything but a few payphones.

I do realize that. It's a strange coincidence, if it is a coincidence. I was just curious, so I'm trying to get a good data pool to determine if it is or not.

For the sake of the data pool, then, "I [heart] Huckabees" was also playing at the Sony Metreon, location of the San Francisco Training Event. (I do think it's just a coincidence, though -- I'll bet "The Incredibles" was opening at all of those movie theatres the next day, and while ILB was also incredible, I doubt there's any connection. )

It's hardly the same type of connection. Geez, I was just throwing it out there. No need to get all snippy.

I thought I was the only beekeeper in Tucson!
Heh, statistically unlikely, but im still puzzled as to why we never got any axons, but we do get a dvd cache. Seems like that might be annoying to the Phoenix players...

After the passphrase failed, I tried to explain about I Love Bees to the customer service guy at the Boston Lowes, but he instisted I meant I [heart] Huckabees.

At the sanfrancisco event, the Theatre the halo 2 multiplayer game was held in was the theatre that would normally have been showing "Surviving Christmas."
Everyone standing in line thought that was amusingly appropriate.

For random connections, i am currently reading Gullivers Travels and at the end of chapter 6 part 3 i ran into this passage proving Jonathan Swift an early beekeeper!
Quote:
"When this method fails , they have two others more effectual, which the learned among them call acrostics and anagrams. First they can decipher all inital letters into political meanings. thus N shall signify a plot, B a regiment of horse, L a fleet at sea. Or secondly , by transposing the letters of the alphabet in any suspected paper, they can open the deepest designs of a disconted party. So, for example, if I should say in a letter to a friend, Our Brother Tom has just got the piles, a man of skill in this art woulddiscover how the same letters would compose that sentence may analyzed into the following words: Resist - a plot is brought home - The Tour*. and this is the anagrammatic method.
* Le Tour was the code name for Swift's former employer Bolingbroke when the latter was exiled in France

No snippiness intended. Apologies if you took it that way.
