Cross-posting this:

The "equation" may have something to do with the creation of the game, or more specifically, the evolution of the coding that appeared on ilovebees.com.

From the DVD - Widow's Journey - Version Three:

"the widow's journey"
"version three - elan gets meticulous"
"The code becomes less eliptical..."

Everyone get on the DVD idea though - seems odd they come out with a dvd and then a new puzzle doesn't it?

Could these be incomplete sentences we need to fill in?

I.e, Nary Wanderer == Bi nary wanderer or someting?
The game is "Halo" or "afoot" or "On"

so Bi Halo sew ellipse?

that was a though of mine too - well the PM's know how much we hated the preposition puzzle so maaaaayyybbbeee........

anyone try preps with these yet

I have the Chicago crew going thru the DVD as we speak

EDIT: remember what SP said - the reference to Occam's Razor - the simplest answer is usually correct - problem is we have answers but no question hence my lean back toward the preposition puzzle

It's been said that it's "Merry Wanderer" which would be Puck, of Midsummer night's dream.

Hey, I've been trying to follow this puzzle a little bit and I know the clues are from audio by Melissa at the events. I was just wondering if you guys know in what format these clues were presented. I've been trying to find it and can't. Were they added on to existing .wav's or are they entirely new?

This is my first post, how terrible.....

Anyways, remember that suture is also a noun, and "stitch" could be a possibilty (though that is both a noun and a verb as well).

Also, how terrible would it be if The Game Is......over.

Next, in the equation for an elipse, "a" and "b" are constants and could be transposed with any letter (other than x or y). It MAY still be significant that they are the main face buttons on the Xbox controller. Or, maybe they're just the first two letters of the alphabet...

For speculation on the last key phrase, the Merry (if not Nary) Wanderer would be Pan, a half goat sex fiend trickster who led people astray.....

Not quite following what you are asking.....? These are brand new phrases given by M++ at each of the events over an audio playback at the theaters. Other than that... could you clarify please?

For Austin, they played the wavs from today's axons where Melissa talks about being split. However, the wavs we heard at the event were overlaid with crew calls from the 404 page which wasn't the case in the axon wavs up at the ILB site. Then we heard a phone ringing and someone pick up (a male voice if I remember right) and Melissa telling them "your pass phrase is Suture". At this point I thought they were playing back from crew calls. But that faded out and then they played the wav of Jersey and Durga again from today's axon wav set that had them talking over the loud music, tuning it out to hear the air raid sirens then Melissa saying "They're here".

And that was that and then they were off to playing Halo2.

Huh, ok. Thanks. What HedgeKnight said was basically what I wanted to know Buzzkill. I was basically asking whether or not you heard entirely new .wavs (specificly made for the events) or if previous ones had been altered. HedgeKnight pointed out it was the latter.

Sorry sather - it's late been up to long - just wasn't catching on....

UPDATE: There has been a confirmation by a PM named Shawn at the SF event - if we find the answers to these phrases they will unlock wav files on the server that will tell us more about the flea and Herzog

UPDATE 2: There has been confirmation by a PM at the NY event - interestingly enough also named Shawn (WTFOMG?!?!?!) - the only clue that he would give was (I paraphrase as close to the quote as I can) "Listen to the audio on the DVD, pay attention to the details, think about the puzzle..." followed by about 15x "I'm not telling you anything more"
