 		I think it would be a creepy twist if Hoody turned out to not be associated in any way with Totheark, and we never found out who actually controlled the account. I'm not saying this is my theory or anything, but its more of a 'what if' type of question.

Now that I think of it, has there ever been solid proof that Hoody and Totheark are linked?

My god man, how many times must we have the same discussion haha. There's basically no absolutely definitive proof, but the evidence supporting that they're the same person is rather overwhelming. If you just want proof that Hoody and TTA are linked at all, well then... watch the videos? A million examples of evidence.

Well that wasn't really my main point. I was really just talking about the "what if" twist I kind of made up. I guess the proof statement was just a….. SIDENOTE - BA DA TSSSSHH.

 		The evidence suggesting that Hoody *is* TTA is overwhelming, but cannot be confirmed 100% and possibly never will be.

The evidence suggesting their connection, however, is more or less irrefutable, because TTA has repeatedly shown footage of Hoody that does not appear in any of Jay's entries (most importantly in Isolation and Surveillance). While this does not confirm the nature of their connection, it confirms they are in some way connected.

That doesn't mean your theory isn't possible, though (and while I'm not sure I want them to do that, I do agree it's loaded with awesome creepy potential). For instance, it could be that the videos containing footage of Hoody are because Hoody is yet another person TTA is stalking, and some of the videos could even be addressed to him.

It doesn't fit very nicely with some of the info we have (and by Occam's Razor it makes far more sense to simply assume Hoody and TTA are one and the same), but it could be interesting.

 		People have surmised for quite some time that we may never discover the identity of Hoody and/or TTA. I think it would be shitty and disappointing rather than creepy, because we know the situation isn't actually real. It would sort of be a shitty like, reverse duex ex machina cop out.

EDIT: Also TTA has referred to Hoody as "me". Also Entries such as 73 are extremely difficult to explain if Hoody and TTA aren't one and the same and impossible to explain if they aren't working together.

 		I'm actually starting to think it really might be Jay. I mean, we know that totheark was actively archiving footage during the summer of 06, and it didn't seem like Tim, or Brian, or anyone else was far gone enough to be doing that at the time, and whoever it was knew where to be at certain times. I dunno. Imagine if it wound up being Jay and he actually released footage of his experiences in the past.

*facepalm* This would be an acceptable idea if there wasn't an actual in game time line that is strictly followed.... With your idea/theory how would you explain when Alex unmasked hoody while searching for Jay? Or how would you explain what happens when Jay and Hoody are in the same room? and I swear to god if people keep pushing the theory of "future Jay" I'm going to smash my head against a brick wall. OOG the trio said they wouldn't use Time Travel.

Haha thank you! The only thing that would drive me crazy is if we never *knock on wood* found out Hoody's identity. TTA on the other hand wouldn't drive me as crazy.

They've used time travel at least twice already, which is why I think the future-Jay theory is a possibility. That would also explain all of the discrepancies you pointed out before that.

 		Also gene said TTA, not hoody. And the style seems to be different every now and then so I'm thinking more of TTA being different people tbh also sha, loving the new icon.

I mean if you consider moving forward in time from day to night, or night to day, "time traveling" then yes I believe that would be time traveling. Although, I've never once seen someone say that they went BACK in time instead of FORWARD. There has never been one instance where someone went back in time. By the logic of the series, Future Jay doesn't seem possible.
