It's not a lack of production quality that bothers me, it's a lack of them knowing where to go with things in a planned out fashion

Normally I would say it's just my opinion, but they have admitted in their podcast that writers block is not uncommon

Like... they should always have the next 2 or 3 entries planned out in advance, requiring very few creative adjustments. Dialogue is pretty easy to write for this series since it's mostly reactionary. It just seems like they're writing most of it on the fly and it gives me the feeling that the payoff in the end won't be that great

They obviously can't reveal hoody because whoever it is will have to show up to record with them unmasked in following entries, and if it's seth or brian both of them live far away iirc so it would be hard to get them there to shoot when they themselves have their schedules aligned. So that's a factor that is going to affect their story

I'd rather have longer waits with better content than 2 week waits with entries that reveal nothing, barely move the plot along, and just set things up for return visits to areas they've been to before because they found nothing (or had to run away) the first time around. The overall quality is better than all the other series, it's just that the story in marble hornets is seriously lacking. There is very little revealing dialogue.

At this point I just don't have high hopes that we will get satisfying answers to the things we are expecting, and our expectations are high for those because they keep drawing things out. Hopefully the next entry changes my mind.

I pretty much agree with you here. I hate that feeling of the story not really being planned out too well. We all know that season 1 was pretty much off the cuff, and yeah, they made it work, but it still gives me an unsure feeling about the whole story. And in that podcast they're doing now, they basically stated they write the entries on the fly too. I know that might not be what it sounds like, but I was surprised when I heard that.

I'm a bit worried, but I'm holding out hope that this series has a good, fulfilling ending.

I thought they already had the ending worked out? Wasn't there a podcast where they said someone was close to guessing it, but wasn't quite on key? I mean if they already have the ending worked out, I'm not too worried about the series.

I'll believe they write the blocking and dialogue (i.e. the scripts) as they go, but I'm sure they have the ending and most of the major story archs sorted out for the most part, if only in their heads and in discussion with each other.

Wouldn't it be pretty badass if Tim put on his mask and pretended to be masky to get close to Hoody and then wreck Hoody's shit and take the pills? Hoody would be dumbfounded if that happened lol

That is an excellent idea for a ruse Tim could employ!

He would even tricks the audience too. Because Tim has to know that Hoody watches them all the time and even stalks them. We already know from 72 that Tim and fight off Slender (sort of), and still be okay afterward. Great idea Sha Noran.

Is it too soon to anticipate 83?

Yes, but only because I think we'll hear from TTA before we get another entry.

Yeah I'm betting on a TTA, possibly soon given his propensity towards taking every opportunity to call Tim out as a liar. Also given what TTA said in Quadrant he will probably have something to say about Jay's reappearance and, more specifically, the fact that he was concealing footage.

That would be the coolest shit ever. Whatever they do with the pill situation better live up to this.

Easy there, slender and slendy were nicknames for slenderman and TO long before the game. Just a little slang, nothing to burn a witch over. Wink

I hope there isn't a TTA. They're boring and a waste of time, imo.

Maybe Hoody/TO will use Jay's death to torment Tim. Accusing tta videos, phonecalls from "Jay", Jay's stuff appearing or moving around in Tim's house.

The coolest would be seeing Jay cross the street in front of Tim, Tim tries to chase after him, but Jay disappears, and then we hear Alex laughing at Tim, saying "you couldn't save him!".
