Answer for heathian's question:

Quote:
heathian asked: Excuse me, I hate to bother, but would you happen to be leaning on the pause button?

Hah! You've certainly found the cause for all these quantum issues we've been having. When I adjusted from leaning on the button labeled "Enable Time Travelling Spies" button, I must have accidently maneuvered in to a position situation above pause.

I speak in jest, of course, but I do come with good news for you. The fragment(s) that we speculated to be arriving in the Copenhagen/Malmo area will be arriving February the 3rd, or so abouts.

I trust that the operative that has been ready (for weeks, unfortunately) is now simple extra ready to retrieve these two fragments.

Interesting. I'm going away again on the 3rd, overnight. Might be able to do something before noon, but otherwise I'm out until the 5th.

Do we have anyone else going to retrieve these besides you? I assume even if you are available to get it, you're still only going to be getting one of them.

Say danish, have you notified the Mechanic about your not being available February 3-5? I am not sure there is an alternate person to recover the two fragments for us and it would not be good for them to be lost to people that might wander by the drop areas.

Yes, I have written directly to the Mechanic. I've hinted very clearly that the 2nd and 5th are easily possible for me, but I appreciate that this might not be possible for the PM(s). Apologies to all if this delays the game!

It looks like danish has gotten through to the Mechanic regarding his availability to retrieve the incoming Fragments.

Quote:
danishpatches asked: Bore da, Mechanic. As I am seemingly the only operative that is active in the area, I feel I should let you know that, unfortunately, a busy travel schedule precludes me from any activity on Feb 3 or 4. If you have any way of influencing the appearance of these fragments, please know that I can dedicate the surrounding days (2nd and 5th) to retrieving the fragments.

the Mechanic replied: I do not, unfortunately, have any influence over their appearance. If I did, this one would not have taken so long! Again, just joking. Perhaps, however, I can assign someone I trust, an old friend, to keep an eye on the fragment while it awaits your retrieval. I will simply tell a white lie to ensure that he does not actually retrieve it himself, for him looking at it may lead to consequences we do not wish to see. Alternatively, it's entirely possible that the fragment will simply, as it has already, be "late to the party" so to speak.

Danish - if you want someone else to try for one or the other fragments my company has an office in Copenhagen and I could ask a co-worker to help out. Also, if the fragments appear while you are away I could get them involved. Since you are already down for getting them I didn't want to interfere unless you need the assistance so let me know.

Thanks for the offer - as long as the fragments appear after my trip, all is good.

New update:

Quote:
Weather Patterns

My friend of a friend who has been on call to safeguard the fragment has not been needed yet. It seems in a way we have gotten somewhat lucky that the fragment is late (again) to arrive. Perhaps the weather patterns in a certain place have slowed it's progress through time. No, that would be silly of course. To the operative who is ready and waiting, your patience is much appreciated. It will not be today, good friend, but keep your eyes here, for a more precise time will be given soon.

Ready when you are, Mechanic Smile

Go!!!!

Malmö Instructions

The fragment has finally crossed over! Here are your instructions:

Locate the Malmö H yllie Train Station. Locate the water tower and head towards it. Pass the tower on the right, just outside the fence. Enter the small wooden boardwalk on the right leading into a grove. Follow it straight until you are forced to turn left. Look under the first joint in the boardwalk after the turn. The boardwalk has two joints between the second and the third circular concrete crossing. The fragment is underneath the first of the two.

I'm on it. Waited all day, almost gave up: hadn't calculated on the Mechanic using US times, so this will be a DARK, international treasure hunt... @pliebgott for live updates Smile
