Not sure if anybody has already done this (lul, page 24) but I somewhat decoded the beginning "speech" of Quadrant. And it also ties into the idea that totheark made this video to warn Jay.

I put it into Audacity and increased the pitch (E2 to E3) while also speeding it up a little, and I got:

"Look for ____________. Do not do this. Hold off..."

My guess for the blank is really...I have no idea. "Tenacious"? "The Magus"? o_o

And then I'm not quite sure what the voice says at 0:14 but it's either "Stupid" or "Stop it." As hilarious as it would be for totheark to be calling Jay stupid, I'll have to say it's possibly "Stop it."

The voice comes back at around 0:22:

"Everyone is __________."

No clue about what is being said there as well. It sounds almost gibberish. My best possible guess is that it is "Everyone is rising." It sounds like there's a soft H sound in the beginning of the word, but then there is a Z sound in the middle of the word. The word sounds like it ends with either "-ing" or "-en."

And finally, at 0:28, and a complete guess because the voice gets so low it's awfully incoherent:

"Get the hell out of here."

Or something to that extent. I definitely hear "Get out of here" though.

So my reason for all of this is that I think this video was a warning to Jay about going into Benedict Hall. When the voice says "Do not do this" it shows the point in Jay's Entry #79 where he puts his head down near the windowsill as he watches Benedict Hall. And "Hold off" is pretty self-explanatory.

Totheark either knew about Alex escaping his confines or he wanted Jay to wait before heading out into his death.

The reasoning for this is that through-out Quadrant we see visuals like "HE IS A LIAR" written on the wall of the hospital, and then we see the candid note in Jay's hand. So it's possible that Totheark realized that Jay was following orders from a piece of paper written by somebody else, and quickly tried to scare him from going into Benedict Hall.

The huge flaw in this: Entry #79 was uploaded November 21st and Quadrant was uploaded December 4th...there's no way Jay waited for that long in one spot. Then again, he uploaded Entry #79, so he either had his laptop with him or slept in his car through the night. It's an unfortunate story hole, but at this point I think we're supposed to assume that these entries take place when they say they do.

Like in Entry #81 when Tim says "I found a crowbar but it was dark again. So I waited through the night while Jay watched Benedict Hall."

But yeah...my theory stands that Quadrant is a warning to Jay. "Don't go into Benedict Hall, Jay. I didn't write that note."
