 		Orbital Colony/Space Elevator
About the space elevator topic i might add that its been an idea always out there but never pursued for the lack of the right material to be used in building it till the discovery of "fabrication of carbon nanotubes". Check the link for more info.

 		can someone either sum up or point to what is known about orbital colony so far? I tried searching but can only find bits and pieces here and there. I'm still somewhat new to the ARG community and trying to decide whether or not to get involved in this one.

edit: ok now i think i'm starting to get a feel for it thanks to orbitalcolony.com, sorry for the unnecessary post.

they are thinking of reversing the idea.
BTW isn't fall almost over? (third quarter 2004) NOW would be a GREAT time to do something pleez - orbital colony - we grow weary and uninterested the longer you EDIT : DELAY! our happiness. Confused

O.k. guys. As we all in #unfiction know... i recieved (and other people too), an e-mail from liftport the other day. It has the following link : http://www.liftportmedia.com . If you follow it you come to a place where they seem to be selling cheap rides(??) to various heights/ planets.
I will attatch th email for everybody to see. It also was notably called the December "Newsletter" so real-world or in game ?... its an arguable discussion.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Liftport has just been proven to be a legitamite buisness as to end the argue whether it was or wasn't.
BUT,
What In the HELL does it have to do with Orbital Colony ?
I mean... we know what the video teaser contains, (and I applaud the great work), but i still feel like we are missing a key to the keyhole here.
It keeps on taunting me and never actually does anything.
To sum it all up,
