How many Operators are there? I'm not sure if I've ever seen or heard Trosephim specifically saying there is only one Slendy. Can anyone confirm this? Or is it possible that there could be multiple? If so, I have a bit of a theory brewing...

Um... isn't there 1? Or are you reffering to all the Operators in the entirety of the Slenderverse?

If they reveal there is two operators, I will never watch anything they do ever again.
There has to be only one. People used to think there was two because sometimes he looked like he was wearing a black tie instead of a red one, but that was chalked up to the lighting.

There's one. There is one idea with some shaky support which I don't really like but would suck a little less than most "multiple Operators" theories involving Alex eventually being turned into a second Operator (and thus the things about Alex having no eyes and such being foreshadowing to this), but I don't really subscribe to that. Most evidence suggests there has only been one throughout the series, and the fact that there was only one to begin with is pretty much definite.

There were arguably fairly reasonable theories about multiple ThinChaps back when the whole teleportation thing was just cropping up. People thought basically either he's really fast or there's more than one of him, but now that' we've seen teleporting first hand from Tim's perspective, plus seen Jay teleport in his own house in 24, and stuff like 23 and 82 has happened, the whole idea of the Operator teleporting is pretty obvious. So more than one of them kinda has stopped being necessary.

You mean to tell me that an overly-tall monster is *less* than one?
Well, I guess the lack of facial features and hair
and motive
could account for that 0.25...

It's The Operator not an Operator. Basic English skills tells me that means one.

Ya but maybe only one of them is the Operator and the rest have other names. And their species name is like, Slenderfuckers or something. Probably not though I agree.

So it seems to me that there's never been an official statement, but this:

proves to me more or less that there's only one.
I'm still stuck on why he's in our universe, and was trying to find some explanation. There's speculation that he can be summoned, which implies there's a summoner. I was wondering, maybe he's not always being summoned on purpose, and maybe , everybody has one. Not quite like a guardian angel, but a guardian Slendy thing? So Tim has one, Alex has one, etc. It would be odd, but the use of the definite article does sort of shake that theory. Probably for the best.

How many Operators does it take to change a lightbulb. One, and he doesn't even need a ladder.
