Gonna commit some slight necromancy on this thread, but given that we're all starting to notice the current absence of TTA, does anyone think this was their way of sort of signing off, saying they're done? "Nothing's on my mind, everything is fine" etc, saying there's nothing more for them to do, that they're finished perhaps...I don't know if this has been talked about and I cba to go through 20 pages, but with the current lack of responses from TTA, I thought it worth at least suggesting.

It almost (even though I don't see it) makes me think that TTA is Jay's sick form. It was around when this vid came out was when Jay started seeing things. Maybe TTA is starting to take over. This also raises the question was Jay sick in Season 2? Nobody seems to remember what happens in sick form. Yes there was slendy, but Jay's character only really in Season 3 has been timid, shy almost. If this is the case, then I doubt Hoody is TTA

Jay-as-TTA is a pretty old theory around here, but unfortunately we haven't been given any decent info either way. If anything, what we do have points to it being another person.

Zarggg, I understand the points against it and they are... decent at best. Nothing is strong though and I find the point for both side right now becoming weaker. What I'm starting to notice is a slight pattern. The fact however is we didn't see a whole lot of Jay upfront if at all in Season 2. The fact is that Jay doean't remember the eventa that makr up season 2. He doesn't remember certain events of Marble Hornets. I do have one queston though that could be relevant soon us when was the first appearance of Masky in the series? Yes Time has been sick since a child, but something happened to make it reemerge and I don'r there is much point arguing that. Seeing as so much goes back to the hospital, I'm willin to bet that these, andwhole events were set in motion by Tim bring people there. He may not have been aware of it when he did it either, but Alex's actions may have cone from being caught up in something he was immune to. Thus Jay, Tim, Sarah, Seths, and Brian were hostile all of a sudden. We're going to find out soon. But Jay had a change himself, and there is good reason to believe he's been going weird the whole series as it became relevant.

I think that this theory is pretty good but there is not enough evidence. But since they should be preparing for the end by now, it makes sense that more and more stuff points to Jay being TTA, or at least having an alternate personality of some sort. If this theory is true we'll probably see more stuff pointing to it in the next entry.

The phrase "I worry about nothing because nothing's on my mind" could be referring to Null. Now I know that Decline predates Null by several months, but that doesn't mean that totheark didn't anticipate having to make a video like Null in the future. In the event that Jay didn't come to harm the phrase would just mean that there's nothing to worry about.

Wrong. Hoody was almost confirmed to be TTA ever since Entry #61.

Was that an actual confirmation that he was solely TTA or a revelation that he was someone who not only was also going around filming things but also was occasionally hacking the MH YouTube and Twitter channels too? I know what happened in it, but I don't remember a specific confirmation there. I've watched #61 several times, largely because I think it's one of the best eps in terms of relevance to the series and also in terms of craftsmanship and execution.

My main point was that such entries as #61 hadn't stopped at least some speculation that they may be different. I thought it was rather obvious myself. But I also think that much of the series tries to lead viewers to a false sense of complacency with respect to theories. I'm hoping for another couple of "doozies" to come before the series signs off.

Maybe I'm reading into things too much, but I haven't seen any reason to fully trust anyone or anything at all. "Null" is one of the few entries I think can be trusted.

True. But that entry didn't end speculation that "totheark" was some sort of Oppy-busting or Alex-busting organization instead of one Ahab-esque crusader whose motives weren't entirely clear.

It still may not be settled, but the sig of "Null," pending cracking of the code, seems to plant speculation on the side of the latter.

Didn't the reply to #40 have TTA ask, "Did you see me?" Only for Hoody to appear in the next entry?

"Intermission," yes.

Plus I think we're supposed to assume that whoever or whatever passed by Jay's car window at night was TTA. Or at least may have been TTA.

But "Intermission," Entry #41, Entry #61, and others don't confirm that Hoody is exclusively TTA. But "Null" seems to--if the appearance of the phrase "Regards," is a closing of a message or a signing off.
