So at this point have we completely abandoned the idea of carpooling from Dallas to Austin. I can go on my own, it whould be nice to split the gas that's all.

An update from Microsoft this morning has provided detailed intel on what gamers can expect. Calling it "a culmination to the Halo 2 I Love Bees program," a Microsoft spokesperson told GameSpot that "Bee Keepers" will be "guided to four locations across the country for a special event."
"Upon arrival," we were told, "the Bee Keepers will find their way to a theater where they will receive a special commemorative DVD (and a collector's lanyard) as well as a special chapter of the ILB game specifically created for the event." Did you just read that? It's ok!?! you can do a doubletake.
Microsoft said those in attendance "will have a chance to be among the first in the world to have hands-on play with the final version of Halo 2 multiplayer." Awesome!?! My prayers have been Answered. Thank you Bungie/Microsoft

Just a reminder, we are meeting at Fuddruckers at 5:30 PM for a pre-training dinner. I'll have an ILB sign for the table so you can find us.
If you need to contact me, cell is: 214.394.7424.

See you there, and one or two local friends may come as well. Out of curiosity, how many people are you expecting?

Grumpy:
As of a few days ago, registration was opened to anyone over 18. I got my response the day after I sent in my e-mail, but Your Mileage May Vary, especially given that this is the day of. However, also given that Austin seems to be the least popular of the four locations, it's entirely possible that there's plenty of room left. Even if you don't register, they might let you in -- you'd just have to remain a spectator...can someone else confirm this?
