The reason the thread was locked was that it had turned into certain members complaining about and arguing with certain other members. At first, the topic seemed innocuous and I was hoping that it would just be left alone once the initial novelty wore off.

Also, do not start threads to ask about moderation decisions; you can ask me directly. As a general rule, I try to avoid closing threads at all (if they are topical) on the basis that the community should be able to control itself and let a topic die if it is no longer relevant or desirable. But when it turns into an excuse to argue, I need to step in.

The primary purpose of this forum is to discuss the Entries.
