It's the principle of the thing. We were enjoying ourselves in a harmless thread and a single malcontent managed to impose his will on the rest of us by derailing the thread and getting it locked. And he got away with it. This is our just punishment for allowing it to happen.

You can do a lot of things that are "harmless." That doesn't mean you'd be following the rules brah. This ain't your playground.

According to the moderator, the thread to which I'm referring was closed only because of the arguing that ensued because of the topic's derailment, not because of the topic itself. So while, generally speaking, you are right, your logic is not applicable to this particular thread.

As it stands that didn't work out and the thread just became you guys flinging shit at each other. I wouldn't even care that much if I didn't also find it so annoying that all of you seem to personally want to crucify marble hornets.

Not that any of this is actually important. I should probably feel bad about discussing such irrelevant shit on here but I blame it on the wait for entry 84.

I don't have anything against Marble Hornets the Guy personally, I just found it lame that he went into a harmless (and funny) thread that was not otherwise going to be locked and made it less fun with his negativity, which he insisted on repeating over and over again. That is what led to the shit flinging. As I said, he basically was able to impose his will on the rest of us when he should have just ignored the thread and gone somewhere else.

If the only people that post in that thread are known trolls, it can still be deleted. Herman has tried this shit before. Now, if our regulars can stay away from it, Zarggg can get in there and delete the damn thing.
