I migrated here from ILB as well. In fact, I seem to recall checking out projectsyzygy.com a while ago and signing up, then forgetting about it, then coming back after all of the perplexcity.com stuff went on.

In any case, it seems like this game has not yet really begun in earnest, so mostly everyone is waiting around. However, it's possible that there is a clue out there somewhere (like the ad in the Guardian) that we haven't picked up on. That sort of "keep hope alive" stasis is pretty much where we are right now, I think.

EDIT - deleted the second repeat of this post...I left the third post because... well, because I'm laughing at the author's own edit. -SG

Syzygy has not started yet. It's due to start in 2005. Everything we have so far is pre-story.

You're best to read the primer and also the beginners topic.
