E-mail me Kristen. I've got something to tell you.
BTW, go to her website and click on "Stuff she did". And after you're done staring at her picture click on "voiceover demo". It's kinda weird hearing her in commercials. (Don't worry Kristen, it's weird in a GOOD way.) Sexy women with sexy voices get me all giddy.)

Slow down there, fella. She's married. We met her hubby last night at the SF event. Nice guy, too, produces some reality TV show for fox.
Come hang out in the wings. There's plenty of us waiting here.

most the PM's worked at Disney, some worked for ILM... that's amazing... i wish i knew how i could break into an industry that lets me do something creative.... i'm sick of telling people "left click... no, left, no YOUR left.... there's only one left... JUST CLICK THE DAMN ICON!!!!"
incredible though, such a talented batch of people
so you teach people computers too, eh? I had the joy of teach 12 classes of freshmen how to check email. Hoooo-boy. You'd think that "Okay, now click the "send" button to send your mail" would not be a 12 step process, but it is.
not teach, but support (hehe butt support)
just got back from a good call, and need to rant about it:
got a phone call from the head of the training dept (who, btw, has the most irritating voice i've ever heard): Maaaaatt, Team don't work on these laptops here (people in my part of the country regularly replace 'don't' for 'doesn't', makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, but anyway, i digress)
me: you're connected to the network
her: (in her typical condescending tone) yes... i'm connected to the network
so i went down to the training room, booted the laptop, sure enough Team wouldn't launch.... in fact there was no network connectivity at all! check the cable... no problem... followed the cable to the switch sitting on the table... IT WASN'T PLUGGED IN TO THE NETWORK
me: yeah, here's your problem
her: what is?
me: this isn't plugged into the network
her: oh... it has to be?
i could excuse someone for being clueless, but when you have a user who talks down to you very slowly like she's always giving a training lesson, i just want to throttle them!!!

Talk about a mood kill Zudini. Gee thanks.
But who DOESN'T produce a reality TV show nowadays? HEHE.
And it doesn't matter if she's married. Sophie was with Aiden and we all know how THAT turned out. I can wait a little while for her to let him go. I'm not THAT big of a bastard to where I would pressure someone into cheating on her husband.
Now that I justified my feelings for her in my mind, PLEASE nobody else try to ruin my OWN, personal ARG.

Official ILB Credits

The following are the credits taken from the ILB DVD. Please PM me if you find any errors (since I did this fairly fast).
There's now a link to credits on the ILB home page labeled MIA .
But maybe more importantly, there's a new message. And a new timer. With a long countdown.

Jane McGonigal deserves her own Jane McGonigal Appreciation thread (as do all the PMs)
I can't believe that one person kept track of and answered all that email, coordinated all those axons, answered the voicemail, wrote the character, developed puzzles, god knows what else, and is incredibly cool and nice and gorgeous as well. Amazing.
She's the real Dana, the one I wanted to be there, but to the hundredth power (says one who made a few too many mean comments about Dana and continues to feel embarrassed )

Hehe, I listen to her voiceover demos and I immediatly associate her voice with Melissa. I'm sure any beekeeper who hears one of her advertisements and recognizes the voice will let out a chuckle. Kristen, if you're reading this, you did an amazing job with EVERYTHING. Thanks for the good times.

Holy crap...you know what this means? Since we have the credits we can cross refrence the voice credits to those in the Halo 2 instruction manual on Tuesday! That way we might know if there in the game in one shape or form even if its "Random Character X"!

Yeah, someone mentioned it before, but I, too, noticed that Aiden didn't get a credit in the...er...credits.
It's funny hearing Melissa's voice in the voiceover clips she has on her site. I have to say, though, that the final clip for stem cell research really sounds like it's the set-up for a punchline. I kept getting a feeling like I was listening to the closing commercials from You Don't Know Jack. "Today, Joseph is alive and healty and playing like any other kid...with the chemicals under the sink. Thanks, stem cells!"
Thank you, I'll bee here all week.
