Next entry on April 4th? With Brian dead now, I don't expect any more TTA's.

I believe that the sideburn conversation was not just there as an inside joke.
Tim has no/selective memory of his pre-side burn life, therefore he assumes that it is a part of his regular look and style.

At least that's the initial response I had...

I thought it was more like Edgar Wright's thing he has for laying out the exact plot of the movie at the beginning of it. Take Shaun of the Dead for example.

Ed: A Bloody Mary first thing, a bite at the King's Head, couple at The Little Princess, stagger back here and bang... back at the bar for shots.

Not exactly what happens in this Entry, but it seemed like they were having fun using that kind of thing. I think Tim just dug the 'burns, man, even if he forgot why he grew them in the first place.

Anyone noticing the Sara dialogue though? You really are onto something.

The Sara Dialogue threw me through a loop. This radical Idea I had of Marble Hornets continuing and we're watching that seems to be getting more iron clad for me. Jay continuing where "Alex left off" and wanting to finish the film. Naming the actual youtube account Marble Hornets. I mean it jest seems to keep gaining momentum in my mind. A being that we don't know to much about shows up and goes on a rampage. A hero is born, Jay. An anti Hero is discovered, Hoodie/Brian. A friend playing both fields, Tim/masky. I mean this seems all to set up for me, its literally an act and it seems were going into the "denouement" I'll hold my applause for the credits.

Remember everyone, we can't trust Tim when he tells us stuff. He's been untrustworthy in the past, just ask Jay but - whoops -
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
he's dead.
We can't be sure that
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Brian actually is Hoodie
just because Tim says so. We didn't get a look under the hood, so to speak, in the previous entry, did we? Tim could be bullsh*tting us for whatever reason.

I agree with others who say that this is the point at which Alex first encounters the operator and his shenanigans.

I have a theory as to why, it's probably rubbish but I'll write it anyway. As Tim mentioned in Entry #59, he'd been getting better before Jay got involved. The auditions were quite a few years before Jay found Tim (Entry #53), so either he was still haunted by the operator at the audition, or his medication had suppressed the effects. If the latter, I suggest that the operator was trapped inside Tim (in a spiritual way or something), and the video camera allowed it to escape. The operator now haunts the owner of the camera, Alex.

Egh, not sure about that. You can't pull a trick like that on an audience after four years of build up - it'd be one thing if the series had been running for six months, they could do that, but after all the mysteries, teasing and drama, I don't think fandom would ever forgive Troseph for that.

If Brian and Alex never convinced Tim to audition, none of this would have ever happened.

Tim is very responsible for everything....unwittingly or not.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I also don't completely buy that Tim didn't know Hoody was Brian. As a close friend, wouldn't he recognize the hoody...unless Brian rarely if ever wore it? The unmasking attempts in 83 seemed genuine though...so I'm not sure.

Remember....Hoody has repeatedly spoken of Tim's dishonesty.

There is a significant portion of Tim's audition missing....probably edited out by Tim before posting.

Alex may be the villain, but Tim is desperately hiding his role as the cause....and blaming Alex helps him do that.

Tim encountered (or summoned) TO during his stay in the hospital...and probably burned it down.

Since then it would be wise to never film Tim.

Does anyone have the feeling that this was set up? The characters in the movie resembling so close to the characters IG. Alex looks so impatient, doesn't even need much convincing from either. I believe Brian and Time were marked before hand.

And of course it was Brian. We couldn't have all come to the wrong conclusion, haha. I loved this Entry! Reading thread before posting more.

Brian also told us "She's out there".

The real question is, is Jessica still stuck in the Operator's realm, or did she escape? We know that Brian was taken at one point, and he got out, albeit not in the best of health. Same for Jay, Alex, and Tim.

I still am not sure she was taken. Entry #76 seemed doctored at the end. Either she was killed or she played dead and TTA put The Operator in to make it look as if she was abducted. There was that TO encounter that Jessica had earlier, but even if he abducts people, he doesn't take them permanently, apparently, unless they've been badly, even mortally wounded (which she hadn't been after crossing through the tunnel). Still a lot of questions about that tape.

It does seem like Brian is Hoody from this entry, but I still don't fully believe it. Yes, they're wearing the same hoodie and it fits with the tape being in his pocket and all, but it's still not technically confirmed.

A nice entry, though. I always love when entries go back to the earlier years. It's always interesting.

If that was the Hoody reveal though, I have to say it was a bit underwhelming and kind of unexpected. I mean, I saw Brian's hoodie as soon as he sat down for the audition, and I made the connection, but I wasn't too sure. Then Tim more or less says Brian is Hoody at the end. I don't know, it was just kind of weird, especially after they prevented us from seeing Hoody's face three times the previous entry. Just thought the reveal would've been more of a dramatic event.

But honestly, even Hoody's death isn't confirmed in my eyes. Tim never says anything about him dying from that fall. He just says that he fell and he doesn't know what he would've done if he knew it was Brian.

And I'm still holding out a little bit of hope that Jay might somehow still be alive or come back somehow.

I'm interested to see how this all pans out. I'm finally willing to believe that the next entry could be the last one. Or the second to last. There's definitely only a few entries left at the most, though.

Isn't that what they did though killing Jay, and Killing Jessica? Troseph is known for pulling stunts like that, Game Changing stunts and whose to tsop them? Literally I could see this ending with showing Alex's Grade and taking everyone out to dinner, everyone together finally again. There are those of us here though that do want a bad ending but a good ending just seems the best personally. It would be the most game changing thing ever, and would make sense as to why Dark Harvest, Tribe Twelve, and EverymanHybrid haven't crossed over, simply because there is no reason to cross over if this is a movie.
