Who should get my extra disks?

Alright, I have 'reserved' the right to pick up all of the leftover disks at the Atlanta, Georgia location. The estimate is roughtly 3 to 10 disks right now, this might change. Of those there are two reserved. I'm going to leave it up to the forum who should get the disks. No self nominations. If you got a disk, however, you can decline. I will ship these out as soon as possiable after we have a clear idea on who should get them and we find out what Dana can do for those that missed out.

So who do you nominate?

well, you could put it into the lottery via Phaedra...

(I'm not going for the dvd/swag, I've got Dana, and if not a definite reserve from someone else who was there)

the lottery would be the best place for any extras you get, IMO

I would contact Phaedra and add it to the lottery swag that she has going that will benefit those that couldn't make it (such as myself) - my 2 cents anyway....

Chicago crew snagged a hojillion discs. I doubt anyone will end up lacking.

We also got Chuck Blevens' blessing to mass distribute the DVD. MS won't view it as piracy (after all, this is a marketing campaign and they want as much exposure as possible).

Maybe we should rip and torrent the file?

It's already been torrented, and a link to said torrent is on the wiki. I think. Haven't tried it myself, I'm going to wait and see if Dana's going to send me one personally.

Phaedra was able to snag a healthy handful of the DVDs - I wouldn't call it a hojillion, but we've certainly got a reserve that can be dealt with once the mailed ones go out and people assess the situation.

Phaedra, Kali? Truly goddesses for obtaining a few extra goodies.

I almost snagged an extra lanyard or two (I think I saw someone else do the same), but we were so close the beginning of the big line that I would've felt like a big jerk, so I did not.

I haven't gotten a reply from Dana (or my initial best-friend-ever, angelo) just yet. If neither of those pan out, I would be absolutely beyond words of gratitude if anyone with extra DVDs would send one to me.

I nominate Jaw again.

He was incredibly generous and helped out Weephun when he was running a little short of cash, plus I don't think he's on Phaedra's Swag List as potential recipient.

So please add him Smile

I'd like to nominate myself...

I got screwed throughout all this thing. I'm too young to drive, I live far away from where all the axons were, I don't think there's a payphone within 5 miles of where I live, and nobody near where I live is willing to drive around for all this. And of course the DVD givaway had to be yesterday, the day where my family and I were busier than ever...
