Part of me wants this movie to be decent.

The other part of me is screaming WHAT THE FUCK MAN??!! YOU CAN'T JUST LET IT STAY ON THE INTERNET??? YOU JUST HAD TO CASH IN ON THE SLENDER CRAZE!!!

I heard somewhere its gonna be a digital download only. So I'll probably just spend the 5 or 6 bucks and see it. The shot of Slenderman Creeping under the door frame did look neat and it scared my girlfriend.

Well, in my opinion it looks like a good movie.

Of course, I do question why exactly they decided to remove Slendy's tentacles, but otherwise it looks like it'll be...

One thing I would actually hope for is for the director to display the major vlogs somewhere in the credits or bonus features, so that the vloggers who shaped the mythos get credit for being the main influence of how Slenderman works.

Is it safe to assume this film has been canned? If so looks like I'll just have to wait for the Marble Hornets film.

I do not know, they have had some activity on their FB page, heck a few months ago (January-February I believe) they said "in time children" zalgofied in a post. I think they had to re-write some of the story and re-shoot or something but the page is still active.

EDIT: it is also possible that the MH guys saw this and decided to contact them about doing a merger which would explain why their kickstarter was cancelled.

I personally don't believe I will enjoy this movie, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt when and if it comes out, I'll see it, then I'll most likely walk directly outside the movie theater and blow my brains out all over the movie poster, but first writing with a big ol' sharpie right on top of it, "This movie gave me cancer and killed my beloved series".

That's how I see it most likely going down.

Oh jeez, is this still being made? I haven't seen or heard anything about Entity since the Kickstarter failed.

it did not actually fail, like they said in the video "some doors were opened, some were closed", the kcikstarter had succeeded but they canceled it shortly after they put out said video.

the film was not cancelled, they cancelled the kickstarter shortly after their update saying that some doors were opened whilst others were closed.
