Someone else will have to help with the translation. For the life of me, I can't get Shavian to render on my computer. Though that is not an email I actually got myself, so hopefully some other people can render the shavian and see if your translation is right.

I also got a shavian mail from Lunar Labs, 𐑚𐑮𐑭𐑢𐑟. Unfortunately, this didn't really mean much... The closest phonetic translation I can get is "browse" (as the letters are bib, roar, ah, woe, zoo). What are we supposed to browse? I couldn't find anything new on the website.

Also if you're still having trouble with the shavian fonts, try this:

If you're using Firefox, go to options > content and click the button for Advanced Font options. On the next screen, change the "Fonts for:" drop down to "Other languages" and set the serif and sans serif font options to Andagii. Firefox should render them all nicely then.

If you're using Chrome, I believe you have to install the advanced font options extension (I don't like Google so I don't use Chrome), but I believe it has a similar option (ie set the language to "other" and the font to Andagii.

IF all that fails, you could try using BabelMap, which incidentally works well as a phonetic crib sheet too.

A direct translation of 𐑛𐑩𐑕𐑑𐑦𐑯 𐑣𐑭𐑕𐑑𐑩𐑤 is "dastin hahstal", according to how I pronounce words at least. Obviously shavian will depend on how you normally pronounce the words which the letters are named after, which may affect the "english" spelling and/or meaning. The letters which make up the words are:

dead ado so tot if nun

ha-ha ah so tot ado loll

I wondered if the second word could be "hostel". Not sure how that changes anything.

Hi all -
Just jumping in, but I think I'm all caught up.

A couple of quick, probably unhelpful thoughts on the shavian message:

the shavian character "ado" is really a "schwa", which means if it is in a syllable that syllable is not emphasized.

which means according to IPA it would be pronounced "daSTIN HAHstal"

Which means, like Thunderwolf said, the second word could be "hostel" or "hostile"

Also the german word for "Stand" is "stehen" so could it be a german phrase
"dastehen ___" I don't really know German so just shooting in the dark

my current thought:

Since Nick is adopted (and even though the textual file picture showed his "parents" Amy and Jakob with only one child), the Gemini answer to the text adventure game leads me to think that Nick has a TWIN brother/sister, and the twin is evil.

It could be someone with S A D (or SDA, or DAS) as their initials, or in their name (dastan?), or it could even be Liam ?

So a little update for the newsletter and my email.

The "junk" in my email turns out to be base 64 url. The only thing is that it's copied straight from a youtube 500 error page. Besides that, the newsletter actually contains the whole error code in full. I didn't find any differences in the code I had in my email. Maybe we're supposed to find the odd one's out that have extra characters? As far as I know it didn't look like there were any differences from them.

Besides that I haven't found any channels on youtube relating to Maria.
