I dunno, people have been speculating about the time Entry #84 was filmed for a while now, it obviously wasn't done back in 2009 but could have been filmed earlier in the production of Season 3 then we thought. If I'm right then they're probably just taking this time to plan out the entry carefully; script, block and choreograph it and make sure nothing is left out or left in that shouldn't be there. They know how important the ending is and I genuinely believe they want to give the best one possible.

No I agree completely that they must've filmed part of Entry #85 with #84. I also have a feeling Brian will be in more parts of #85 since they spent a significant amount of time with him while they were in Tennessee was it? I don't think we saw the last of Brian.

Oh my bad, I've only listened to the first two or three podcasts. Should really catch up. I'm interested in why you think some of #85 was filmed with #84, do you think we'll see another tape or more footage from the one Tim found? I'd like to think we'll see more of Brian, I want a stronger connection to Hoodie.

#85 would have been filmed before they visited Brian, and #84 was then filmed with everyone shaven and cleaned up. So by the time Entry #86 is ready to be filmed, if there is one, they would look exactly how they looked in #85 because they gave themselves two months of open space.

However, I do believe they could have filmed more videos with Brian partly due to the fact that they spent a significant amount of time with him and Hoody's motivations still have yet to be explained in full circle. I believe any of this is possible.

Another possibility is #86 being filmed during #84. Another tape from Alex's secret stash could reveal some Hoody motivation as well as his own.

This makes sense. We have no idea how/why Brian became Hoody. This would be a good time to explain it.
