 		One of their more prominent activists Amina Tyler quit FEMEN because she had doubts about how it was being funded. She was in lots of international news when she was arrested in Tunisia in May, and was subsequently released in August.

She did an interview with the Huffington Post where she discussed her reasons for leaving.

I don't know how the movement is financed. I asked Inna several times, but I didn't get a clear answer. I don't want to be in a movement supported by dubious money. What if it is financed by Israel? I want to know. And then, I don't want my name to be associated with an Islamophobic organization. I did not appreciate the action taken by the girls shouting "Amina Akbar, Femen Akbar" in front of the Tunisian embassy in France, or when they burned the black Tawhid flag in front of a mosque in Paris. These actions offended many Muslims and many of my friends. We must respect everyone's religion.


The 'Inna' she mentioned is Inna Shevchenko.

Also in August, a man named Victor Svyastki was outed as the founder and mastermind of FEMEN. Back in July, The Junsui facebook posted photos of Victor Svyatski after he had allegedly been severely beaten by Ukrainian siloviki.

Lots of things about FEMEN don't quite add up. It's worth noting that FEMEN was founded in 2008, making their movement at least a year older than The Junsui.

 		yes this is absolutely true that many things in femen do not add up, particularly their background or funding!

in fact the popular opinion in Ukraine is a majority against them and their behavior. What femen does what they do almost purely for outsiders consumption!

And is it just a coincidence that the femen founder and PR director Anna Hutsol is a close associate with Markesano on Linkedin (along with several Russian SVR officers)?!

You tell me what is happening and why the public is being told that the true threat to security comes from the chechen partisans and the street protestors who are challenging the eastern oligarchy or 'family' (as they say in Ukraine).

And why does the western media misrepresent the protests right now on the street as being over the EU when it is entirely an uprising against the corruption and oppression of these mafia chiefs?

 		Hello everybody

Since FEMEN made protest today in Crimea there is much in media here in Russia about their ties to Svoboda party of west Ukraine. Original founding name translates to Social-National Party of Ukraine, which is making reference to National Socialism of Hitler.



As FEMEN and Junsui often speaks with same voice or in support of one another is worthy to know?

I found this quite disturbing this morning

on the junsui facebook they posted an image of member in Femen standing in front of house of Trade Unions in Odessa right before it was burned.
