 		Yeah, I read about a certain thing in Tribe Twelve (in the Livestream Incident, I think?) which was similarly insanely well planned.

I can see such a thing happening if they've actually kept some of their ideas from S1 and S2 which they may have created footage in advance for. In particular, I could imagine that they may have filmed a few entries in advance that originally were intended to be uploaded much earlier in different contexts if they directly related to entries already released- for instance, I could believe they filmed a follow-up to Entry 12 at some earlier point which was meant to come near the end of the series and was not uploaded simply because of the ending coming years later than once believed.

Not that we should get our hopes up, but I'm in the phase of entry withdrawal right now where I start assuming that something awesome is coming instead of being more cynical like I am at other stages in the process.

We can get our hopes up at least a little. I wouldn't be surprised if they did have something from much earlier that they'll dust off and add. I know they've said that in season one they were going for mood and that they often write on the fly and shoot entries sequentially. That doesn't mean that they didn't have some sense of where this all at least may have gone when they started and that has remained somewhat consistent throughout.

Yeah, TT did the Livestream Incident/HALLOWEEN HOTEL thing with Firebrand, that was bad f**king ass. I doubt MH will have an earlier video to show us, maybe something like #84 that was filmed recently and intended to be earlier but like people said, the plot written in S1 could have been significantly different than S2 & S3. I know we're getting an awesome Entry because it's taking time and these ominous tweets from Trosphim are getting me hyped. We're so close to the finale I can taste it and if the S1 and S2 finales are anything to judge by this will be nothing sort of epic. I've been looking forward to a follow up to Entry #12 since I first watched it and I'm still waiting :L

If, however we get the next Entry before the Kickstarter ends and we get a kick-ass entry along with old footage from S1 we haven't seen than I guess I'm going to get everything THAC ever makes. Because they will be $8,000 richer. I will sell my house, stuff and family Razz

 		The reason I want them to have premades is because if they did we could get a whole bunch of entries very quickly. It would be amazing for the release schedule.

That's kinda true, they could have old tapes ready but without a recent video of Tim finding these it puts just as much strain on the schedule. They couldn't just start a video with font saying "I found this." Old tapes are great but without a context they're meaningless.

It has been too long, and knowing the end is near is making it worse not better. I was really hoping we'd get something cool and revealing before we got the finale, but now I'm not so sure. Might end with 85 and a conclusion, if we get a follow up conclusion.

Joker, they don't have any archived entries or footage. If they did, 84 would've been old footage and they wouldn't have openly laughed at our positing that it was much older reserve footage. It is borderline sad to see anyone still clinging to the idea of the mystery archived tape that solves it all... i wish that's where this was going, but it just doesn't look that way. I think we get a shitty final entry where alex and tim kill each other (with TO sweeping in just after and "taking" them) and the final entry is uploaded by a mystery person who we don't get to meet until the movie. Because that sells tickets. Its gonna be a big shit sandwich and we're all gonna have to take a bite, my friend.

 		Speaking of the movie, we're seriously overdue for more info about it. It's supposedly finished and coming out this year, and there was even supposedly a pre-screening a while back, but we haven't heard anything for months. Can we get a trailer soon, or at least some confirmation that it wasn't just a collective dream is still happening?

 		Yes I think if it's coming out this year a trailer should exist at this point. The longer we go without hearing anything suggests that studio hands are editing I would think. Are they waiting for the web series to finish? Probably not, otherwise Trosephim would put everything else on hold and crank out all remaining entries.

What's the last official/semi-official word we've heard?

I disagree, I think since we're so close to the end the studio are holding back a little on making a statement, bear in mind Mosaic are counting on existing MH fans to see this movie as well as newbies. While the storylines are different the movie is stated to be in the same universe as the series so who's the say the ending won't have ties to it?

How often do TV shows air new episodes at the same time of a movie release? Not a very good point but bear in mind the production speed of MH compared to that of a fully-produced TV series. My guess that Mosaic want to wait a while before getting the green light from Trosphim, otherwise the press for the movie could distract fans from a potential new Entry or TTA.

Either way, I'd say we're due big news on it very soon.

First of all, I actually seriously doubt they're going to do any such thing to tie into the movie. For some reason I can't explain, I actually trust Trosephim when they said they'd wrap up most important plot points and the movie will be largely independent of the series.

It is possible (though I somehow doubt it) that they will do something like introduce one more unseen figure who will feature in the movie somehow, but I don't think they'll do a full-blown cliffhanger like you suggested. I think we'll get some sort of closure with the series. How much closure? How satisfying? That I can't say. It might be a godawful, shitty ending. But it will be a shitty ending which at least feels like it resolves something. Not what you described.

Second, I have stated from the beginning that it's wishful thinking, but 84 isn't a relevant factor here. We know they didn't plan everything from the beginning, I'm merely postulating that they may have held onto something they'd created much earlier on, most likely repurposing it somewhat from its original plan.

Obviously the Hoody reveal could not have been from archive footage because the very concept of Hoody didn't exist yet in S1. Indeed, many things cannot be archive footage because they weren't planned that far in advance. But there are a few things which could be, such as a follow-up to Entry 12. Of course it's borderline impossible that any such thing will happen, I was never speaking of anything I actually expect to occur.
