Are the DV archive tapes and drawings only for those who donated $1000 or can you also get them if you went with a higher tier?

They said only five sets were being made, so I don't think you and I will get them Sad

You might get one if they aren't all gone, but they'd have to give everyone who got a higher tier one so that might be unfair

Yeah, I was thinking about that. It seemed like a contradiction because they also said that top tiers include "all previous tiers" they also said if you pledge 1000 or more you get the tapes. So I was thinking maybe they limited it to 5 just for those who pledge between 1000 and 1499.99.
Because they also limited the Skype chats in it's own tier but all higher ones get that too.

Wait, you pledged 1500?

Yessir. And the 1000 tier was added after they hit one of the stretch goals, so I figure they just forgot to alter the 1500 tier as well.

They actually can't alter the tier descriptions - Kickstarter doesn't let creators do that (for obvious reasons).

I suggest you guys directly contact the boys and ask whether the box is included if you're not sure.

Don't really want it myself. It's an awesome idea, but I lack the hardware to play those kinds of tapes so they'd likely wind up taking up space with me.

I don't see the blu ray set selling much with that price point at all after this is done, and I have to assume most people who were gonna buy stuff funded the kickstarter. Something tells me they're going to either have a ton of blu rays sitting leftover, or a ton of extra pocket money (over 10 grand?)

I think they deserve pocket money, but also at the same time, they could use that money to lower tier prices instead, or auto upgrade people who kickstarted the s3 DVD to blu-ray version automatically (doesn't cost THAT much more to produce a blu ray than a DVD once they have the setup to do so, blank discs aren't that much more costly.)

Still would like a season 3 blu ray standalone without season 1 and 2 on it, since DVD's can't display 720p properly which is what season 3 was shot in.. just want ma season 3 in HD without having to pay nearly twice the price of the DVD

No doubts about it, they deserve the pocket money, but I doubt they'll waste it. Might go on the next few Entries, THAC stuff, this mysterious "new" project or convention outings. It's unlikely but I really hope they come to the UK sometime.

I imagine they will have Blu-Ray sets for sale once everything is finished at a more reasonable retail price.

I'm pretty sure they're re-rendering the first two seasons in 720p.

That's wicked awesome, because I've long wanted to hear what came after Alex's allusion to the Zybourne Clock intro.

For those not aware, they added a new stretch goal a couple days ago.
$70,000 to fully fund the next two (!) series after MH (one mystery/horror series and one comedy series).
They only need another $10,000, but they only have 4 days left! Now would be the time to open your wallet if you haven't yet.

Backed at the $30 level here, but I really want that box set. I've only been a follower of this series for a few months so I don't have any of the DVD's yet.

I'm jealous of the person who was able to spend $1500 to meet them and visit the filming locations. Alabama is really within driving distance for me but no way I could ever afford that. I'm planning on attending GMX this year anyway to meet them so no big deal.

They never said the funding was for both shows.
