A suit? A really tall man in a suit? Maybe he was quite slender?

so I checked this out after finding out about, I think it was on the MH board, that polymer spiders or whatever it's called "series"? someone mentioned this as an example of a creative approach to a slendy series with a female protagonist. I have to agree. it's pretty well done, and it's more consistent as a vlog than MH is. the actresses who play the protagonist and her friends are really good (so right there it leaves purple quartz spiders in the dust), and the protagonist is quite sympathetic (you have to wonder why she'd post so much of a seeming breakdown to YouTube, but many, many, many more things would surprise me far more in real life). I also liked the trippy, almost impressionist watercolor-like distortion in, what was that episode (the one where Story goes by the river). smoke alarm constantly going off was a nice touch, and while the "black dog o' depression" is itself a sort of tired trope, it's well integrated into the mythos (so far, anyway). It's not necessarily a slendy series that resonates much with me, but I'm looking forward to the next entry (I watched all the way from entry five through to the latest, 33?, in one afternoon).

correction: entry 34. I watched to entry 34. there are thirty-four entries, and I watched to 34.

I was surprised to see the friend who had seemed to be not only the most skeptical but the most judgmental be the one to reach out to Story first.

Ahhh my favorite Slendy moment, the video where everyone agrees that something must remain private and then one of the people turns around and uploads the video.

While that is the case, I still wouldn't be too quick to trust him.

I've started watching KG, and as someone who's trying to get a female-fronted series going, I think it needs a hell of a lot more recognition. Story is a complex, relatable and still likeable character, the acting is really good and it's not too hard of a series to get into and follow.

This is very true. I openly admit I only started watching and got sucked in because Story is physically attractive (yeah I'm shallow like that so sue me) but I stayed because the series is getting really interesting. It's not without it's flaws but what series isn't?

Yeah, that was one of the draws for me at the start, but,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
she's also a solid character portrayed by a capable actress--and also because it's good to see one of these series built around a female lead
.

Hector and I have talked, and we agreed to try and find Xander Shaw in a day or two.

Hopefully that means a new video in a day or two or 7?
