 		[meta] DVD need / have posting
Not to step on Phaedra's toes with the SWAG lottery, but I thought it might not be a bad idea to get a thread set up to connect those who couldn't get a DVD through the normal channels with those who got extras (I know there have to be some of you out there:)).

I'm personally hoping to get one through Dana, but I like to hedge my bets. Also, I know a couple of folks who would really appreciate getting one of the discs.

That said, I'll start the posting off with the following statement:

I am looking for one (1) DVD. PM me if you are willing to part with one, I will pay for shipping. Thanks.

Edit: I'd also be interested in one of the badges.

 		Just so you know, the only swag given out to many people was lanyards and discs. Go to the swag lottery thread for those. Each city did have a raffle for the following package:

* Halo 2 LE
* LE Halo Platronix USB Headset
* XBox Live! Starter kit
* 12 month subscription to Live!


The only forum regular at the Chicago event that won one (AFAIK) was RoboGRIFF. He's not giving it up.

The rest went to rabid fanboys. Several of whom were jerks. Razz

Anyway, a substantial number of DVD's were procured by our crew, so head over to the swag lottery.

No, you're not stepping on my toes. Smile

However, I do want people to know that I was completely WRONG about not being able to get extra DVDs. After a bunch of beekeepers vouched for the fact that I was indeed running a swag lottery, the Microsoft people kindly gave me a stack of DVDs. So, while some of you may prefer to get your DVDs from Dana -- and I do have a limited number, so it may be the safer route -- you are welcome to enter the lottery for the DVDs. Or make private arrangements if you like. Or enter the lottery, and if you don't win one, then go to Dana.

Or whatever you like. Smile

And it is wonderful of you to help out those who need DVDs.

 		Bah.... I wish i could have participated more in this game,Been following it since the begining, the only axon within any sort of reasonable distance was a 45 minutes drive,I got there just as the phone stopped ringing...

If there is any chance i could get a DVD i would go for it, I'd rather not pay some cretin on Ebay for one, but i will pay postage if somone will send me one.

And man, talk about lurker... I joined aug 25th, and this is my first post outside the Stegged sound puzzle thread

And don't buy it off ebay. That'll only encourage that kind of thing. If you see it, report it in and stop it. People shouldn't be profiting from this.

 		I sent an email on Wednesday to Dana, and then again on Thursday evening fairly late to her again. I still haven't recieved a reply, not even in the negative...so I guess I can't get one from Dana, so I'd like to see if I can get one from a fellow beekeeper.
