So in conclusion, the way I see it, the more we learn about Alex, the more we learn about the Operator.

I think you're right, we've kind of learned about it through Tim as he is "the source" and given how it's presence has affected Alex we learn about how distorting it must be to the human mind. Like to truly understand it we have to look at the hosts.

Yeah. Some of the things that Alex have said in the series, especially in Season 2, makes me think that the Operator may be able to speak via Alex. That may be why at times, Alex REALLY didn't seem like himself. It's as if the Operator was slowly taking over him.

"Hey Jay, forget your flashlight?" - TO speaking through Alex.

Speak via? I'm not sure...Act via maybe. See how Alex takes the gun off Jessica when she's taken, how he takes the camera and says nothing after Brian and Jay are taken and when he knocks Tim out? His moments are far too wooden, robotic. If TO isn't acting through Alex and it must be at least be eliciting some kind of schizophrenic disorder not unlike Tim's masky persona or Hoody's(as I strongly believe Hoody was an alter-ego of Brian that he wasn't aware of)

Those are identity disorders, not schizophrenic ones, & anyway, I see no reason to believe that Alex isn't acting erratically simply because of how stressful everything that's happening is.

Day 6: Subject has entered the first stage of Entry Withdrawal Syndrome (EWS), denial.

Hope they've started filming already and we should get it early next month. Smile

I can't. I can't cope now, so who knows what we are going to be like. It's a drug man, a drug that only comes out once a month if we are lucky.

This is another thing I like talking about. I don't think Brian would undergo seizures and just "turn into" Hoody. I feel like going Hoody and going Masky are two different processes just because of how they act.

For one, I don't think Hoody was an alter-ego of Brian. I think Brian was Hoody at all times, and maybe used that Tape we saw two entries ago to remember who he was (this could also explain that motif of the two lights (stoplights in the video) that symbolize the eyes of Hoodys mask as a way of identifying himself).

Going off on sort of a tangent, I don't quite understand the pill's significance. For one thing, we see its abilities to fight off the effects of the Operator, and we also see its importance to Tim to prevent seizures, most likely fighting off the same effects. But what I don't get is why they are so important once you have Masky, or Hoody for that matter. When they are in that state, they STILL go tirelessly after those pills. Does it make them stop being Masky/Hoody? I doubt it, because we have seen Hoody take numerous pills and just remain Hoody.

However, it is possible that for Hoodys sake (if it isn't an alter-ego like Masky) that Hoody IS just Brian and he gets a little crazy without them or something. I don't know

I think the pills are some kind of anti-anxiety medication, which diminishes prevents the fear that TO feeds off of.

What about the coughing fits and the seizures?

Location: The Ark, obviously. Or Michigan. Not Sure.

MAN I haven't posted since that whole Null thing...

But I've been lurking and I gotta say, I agree with everyone here. Brian was Hoody, Hoody was Brian. We have to take into account that we don't know enough about Brian's past to couple him with Tim/Masky. Tim obviously had problems that would force him to act that way.

So much of Brian's intentions still haven't been discovered yet. It may be the most important discovery of the series because it hasn't really been hinted at, save for the "ark" business, and it's been mentioned since the beginning.

Brian might have been "Hoodified" after the events of Entry #51, maybe as revenge to Alex? And maybe Jay and Tim were right to suggest that Alex gave Jay those tapes to make himself look like the victim rather than the cause (#72).

The anticipation Shocked
Troy suggested on their kickstarter that they would film the Monday this week (May 19! )and that the next entry will hopefully be done in less than a month! Fingers crossed!

Well, preventing seizures would be a good start.

Also, we know that the "fugue states" wear off after a while. Possibly, the seizures are an "on/off switch," which the pills can delay. So if Masky takes them, he stays Masky, while if Tim takes them, he stays Tim.
