Simple question. What's your opinions on the matter?

I mean, in the context of timing and such things, it definitely isn't. The next entry will probably be filler of some sort because of the recent stabbing. They don't want to try to rush things way too early. The fact of the matter is that if they do, then people will be all like "why must i cry" and there will be much hell of there.

In response to Mariah, they said in the last podcast that they would delay 86 slightly in response to the stabbing (just until it died down a little), but they also hinted that it might be like Entry 83. They've mentioned multiple days spent shooting, and that they've become more efficient at it.
As for if it's the last, I doubt it. I'd say there's a good chance Alex will be dealt with, but at the very least, I'm expecting a sort of conclusion entry where we finally unravel this tangled web.

Not that easy I'm afraid. If we knew the length of the next Entry it'd be safer to hazard a guess.
Long Entry - Yes.
Short Entry - No.
To wrap up all the loose ends that they will likely address (granted about 90% will be left open) they would need somewhere along the lines of #52's length, maybe longer. There was exactly a month between the release of 51 and 52 which would mean that the production wasn't exactly that intensive. But they have a lot more on the line here and I imagine if they want to surpass the tripiness of #83 they'd need to put in quite a lot of work.
I thought #85 was going to be our last Entry or the penultimate/last fight between the two but it just stretched out the story and I sorely hope #86 doesn't follow suite. They've come too far to simply drop the ball now.
So in short if the next Entry is the last, it'll be lllllloooooonnnnggg.
If it isn't, it might be long-ish like 10 mins maybe? but if it's anything under that then I expect another #85 that will just piss people off.

Too many loose ends to wrap it up in one big entry.
I actually do not like another #83-ish entry, since I feel those provide little information because everything is so f-uped, that it is hard to determined what is relevant and what is mindmelting.
The very last entry while then hopefully contain some good ol' driving with overlay text.
So my guess atm is 2 more entries: #86, since it will be an "action" entry, and #87 with some driving in it. However, I realised now that ending it with #87 feels so random. It had more ... something to it if #88 were the last entry.

My guess: Three more entries. Joseph and Troy said in the latest posdcast that they wouldn't be cutting anything out or combining entries, and I can't see how a resolution is possible in any less than three. Plus 88's a great, round, fortunate number (though part of the name of a now-defunct Chinese supermarket in Boston and New York).
Next entry shows Tim finding some clues or revealing (even inadvertently) something that leads to some sort of big reveal that ties things together and kicks off the resolution. The penultimate entry is the showdown. The final entry I dunno, it could be Tim and Alex and frosty chocolate milkshakes (it might be The Ark for part of it, even though I've posted before and still stand by the theory that The Ark was just a name Hoody/TTA/Brian gave to some aspect of the whole mess to try to comprehend it after going off his nut), but it'll be a resolution that most of us may see as cheap now but that'll wear better in the future (I have no idea what it will be, but it'll likely have Tim trying to get back to a normal life to the greatest extent possible, and making some statement that the entries are the only record of what had happened, and while many may not believe them, he'll leave 'em up as they're some of the only proof left that his friends and the MH crew even existed, and they sort of live on as long as the entries are still available for someone to watch them. We'll get some forced closure (I don't mean that in a bad way--I mean that we're not gonna get a happy ending or a miserable ending; I mean that we're gonna get an ending that provides some resolution without a big ol' cheapo infodump). We'll all probably get mad for a bit. Some of us will still be hoping for a TTA or something, even if to lead into The Operator movie (which I don't see forthcoming, as they take place in the same universe but the story lines never meet, supposedly, which is a damn good thing). Something tells me that while MarbleHornets said a while back that if it's a fumble he'd (or she'd?) never recommend the series to anyone else, he won't be taking the DVD from the Kickstarter (if he did kick in) and use it for a beer coaster or for DVD frisbee golf.
The only person I see coming back from possible oblivion is Jessica (because though I'm in the minority, I don't believe Entry #76 shows a TO abduction, and I wonder whether she isn't free from everything--at least as long as she stays away from video cameras). No more Jay (though I feel really horrible for the bastard). No more TTA (though I'd love that). Alex either has to die or has to enter Oppyland with Tim (because I'm convinced this has taken that Lovecraft route of a normal guy being so transformed by his weird encounter that he absorbs some of its abilities even if he doesn't see that as a positive). Maybe he gets sealed in there, or maybe he dies in there, or maybe he willingly enters there (doubt this last one).

I agree. That really seemed more to me like the guys experimenting with all sorts of cool FX and editing. Nice showcase for Tim to demonstrate that he can play someone who can fly into a murderous rage, though. Too many of those entries seem like trying to run down the clock when you're just a couple of points ahead. You can really putz it up in the final minute.
I don't think #86 is The Big Action entry, though. I think something happens, but whatever #87 holds will be even bigger and will dwarf it.

He might just mean that they want to be sure to choreograph and shoot it just right. I wonder too...

I don't think it'll be filler. I think it and the one that follows will make Entry #85 look like filler (which I don't think it is). I've already posted what I think the breakdown of The End will look like.

I think a lot of us agree with the creators that it's time. It could get really, really bad if Trosephim lost creative steam. they appear to want to move on, and I don't think anyone wants them to be typecast. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing--and then it's no longer a good thing... it's just a thing.

I'm honestly not a Slenderman fan. Seeing a lot of series that are derivative of Marble Hornets and others makes me less of one. I gravitated toward MH mainly because I'd heard that some guys had done a low budget horror/mystery webseries, and I'm always fascinated by innovative filmmaking. Aside from this, EMH, and a couple of smaller ones that are at least trying something new, I'm still not a Slenderman fan. Not that it really matters or anything.
