Current Slendy and non-Slendy horror series
A discussion of current horror series

As we know a lot of the Slenderman series, namely the big three, coming to an end soon. Marble Hornets has been amazing, and while I may be in the minority, my favourite has been Everyman Hybrid. What series has been your favourite so far?

Sorry that I haven't been following Tribe Twelve as much. The animation videos are incredible though.

Also, what non-Slendy series are you enjoying and would recommend? For me Just Acquaintences has that right mix of atmosphere and creepiness that any MH or EH fan would enjoy.

I would love recommendations for new series to watch. I do remember one that I started a while back but I can't remember the name. It was a vlog style series that featured two girls who were experiencing blackouts and vomiting, and were missing out on huge gaps in time and their memory. It was a non-Slendy series but Ipremember it being really creepy.

Anyway, looking forward to a nice discussion!

I too would love some spooky recommendations.

Other than Just Acquaintances, I would recommend:

No Through Road
It's just a short series (I think 4 videos), finished already. Pretty well done.

The Little Fears
Not really a series, but some creepypasta and some original videos. (I like the fact that on some of her original videos are creepy in a very subtle way.)

Not scary but funny:
Fish out of Water (the drop down menu above the pic leads you to the videos).

Thanks for the recomendations, ''No through road'' definetly scared the shit out of me.

For creepypasta readings go to:

This guy has a ton of them, mostly good ones.

The series that tsuchinoko was looking for is called DownMyCellarDoor (Or something like that). Slendy DOES appear but it doesn't seem to be the main antagonist.

Best series in my opinion is MH by far, TT coming second, DarkHarvest coming third and EMH just barely reaching fourth place because they have a very convolluted story that no one would be able to jump on without a wiki and they exploited the hell out of Habit making him appear on every single series for no reason (Thank god DH and MH didn't do this)

No Through Road is pretty awesome, but is there a transcript available, because I have trouble making out their accents.

If you guys want a really good non-slender related series, check out TheWestRecords. I'm sure some of you have heard of it, but it is really well done. Really professional film quality as well.

It is also completely video centered so far. The creator is also really cool Very Happy

Also, The Mystery of the ManTree or whatever is pretty cool.

Thanks for posting that, man! I just went through all of the videos on the channel, and I'm surprised by the quality of the series. This is definitely something I'm going to check often.

(Sorry for bumping a thread that is so old.)
(OOG information in this post, obviously.)

Keratin Garden is a pretty high-quality series that is still updating at a reasonable pace (reasonable for the Slenderverse, that is). The acting is incredible (or, rather, extremely credible), the writing is excellent, and the scares are effective.

Whispered Faith is a Rake series that is very popular. It has high quality effects and good writing, but I think that the acting leaves a bit of something to be desired.

The Antediluvian One, in my opinion, is one of the better, but lesser known, series. It may have only 200 subscribers, but it makes a goal of messing with your head. There is only one thing that you can rely on when watching the series: no one, and nothing, is reliable. Not even the videos are trustworthy, as they have been edited, changed, and even removed, depending on who is in control of the account at the time. The only way to have an inkling of what is going on would be: 1., to have followed it from the beginning, or 2. to follow the Unfiction thread.

If I have to recommend one thing from his channel I would recommend Penpal (you can find the series in the playlists) if you haven't seen it or read it before you really should it is just excellent, it is one of my favorite stories of all time, I won't go into much detail as to what the plot is other than if you don't use the playlist (for what ever reason) the proper order is, Footsteps,Balloons,Boxes,Maps,Screens,Friends.

Also while this isn't a series I would still like to recommend this guy https://soundcloud.com/myuu he is the one who makes all the piano music in the creepy pasta narrators videos, it's pretty and creepy at the same time. This is my favorite musician.
