I see #87 as the last number entry, and a Conclusion video as the ending itself (same as Introduction ).

Troy wrote that the final entry would be titled like the others.

I'd say it's unpredictable, i remember Hoody teasing for 10+ entries and then they release one saying ''There u go, Brian is Hoody''. The amount of teasing they do sometimes is astonishing, i believe we still have some ''revelations'' entries before the Alex final boss battle

They have indicated a miniscule amount of entries left, so I expect #87, with an extremely rushed ending and countless loose ends. Troy said we'll know when the ending is coming and #85 did not feel like the penultimate entry, so I won't say #86 will be the last. Although I know #85 was supposed to feel like a big dramatic entry leading into the climax, it's mainly that it was so cornily handled that it just felt like filler padding out the Alex confrontation.

I don't see how it was "cornily handled." I didn't care for the first half of the entry, which was a bit cliche. I thought they did a great job with
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the arson, even if it was largely likely an experiment to show themselves that they could do it and could push the limits of making a low-budget series
. Loose ends shouldn't be a problem--it'd be unrealistic and phony to force them all together in the end.

"We'll settle this! You know where I'll be!" was in my opinion incredibly cheesy. And reflected much of the problems with this entry. Why not just settle it then and there? Why stretch out the confrontation for another entry, causing this one to have almost no point? And how the hell would Tim know where Alex will be? There's at least 3 different locations he could be! There's crazy aggressive Alex and then there's just randomly idiotic Alex.
The arson was very impressive from a production standpoint but what was the point in it? Tim's house is gone... okay, so what? He was going to have a battle to the death with Alex anyway. He was already mentally destroyed from losing Jay and Brian(even though I don't get why he has any sympathy for Brian after seeing he's Hoody but that's another load of problems entirely). There's the possibility that it means Alex was the one who burnt down Jay's apartment but that's not exactly concrete when Tim is also a probable culprit and even if it was Alex, we're given no indication as to why he would have done it. Also the media covers the fire but Tim doesn't... y'know... show them the video of who did it!? At least give us an excuse as to why he isn't doing it. Although it probably wouldn't be much of an excuse.
Well loose ends should be a problem since you don't just set things up and then drop them completely because of lack of realism, otherwise why set them up at all? Not that there's much realism in the first place, Hoody's access to knowledge and footage for the sake of plot advancement is beyond absurd.

Well, then I'd say #88.

He didn't know Tim was in the house. He was there to kill Tim, and Tim wasn't taking any chances while Alex had the gun. It was Alex talking mostly to himself, and trying to smoke Tim out (kinda worked). It may have been a little cheesy, but over all, it wasn't badly handled.

I'm not sure that all of Hoody's knowledge was that absurd. Hoody was a determined, obsessed, crazy individual. Anyone with internet access who's determined enough can find the stock footage. Three years is plenty of time to learn the basics of editing. (Also, we really don't know what IG Brian's major was--he could have been a film major too; film students appear in each other's projects all the time.) The only thing that seems a bit odd is how Brian got access to editing equipment--he didn't seem to have even a laptop anywhere near that shack.
As for Alex's dialogue... you've got a formerly awkward, geeky film student who's had his entire life disrupted twice at least and is now a fugitive and likely a serial killer. I don't see why he couldn't draw from a cliche tough guy monologue. (He wasn't very good at writing dialogue, anyway.)
Naw, the THAC boys deserve passes on both of those.

I'll defend a lot that they've done in MH, but the tape in Entry #66 and Tim's three unmasking attempts in Entry #83 were too much.

Where did he say this?
And what exactly does that mean? That the last entry will just be called "Entry #X"?

Whatever the last entry is, I think it's going to be one where we don't get a screenshot. It will be a total surprise.

If Troy didn't give us an upspoliery screenshot, then it would be obvious it's the last Entry. And when he said we'll know it's the end I think he meant by the events in the video.
