Crying "It's not fair!!" won't change the issue. Sticking it to the man and downloading it anyway won't change the issue. It's illegal. full stop. In this case, there are still ways to attempt getting the disc by legitimate means. If that's not possible, then it wasn't meant to be, and it's how the owners always intended it. Unfair? maybe... but it's their choice. if they see masses and masses of people throwing a riot, maybe they'll change their minds.

You say change their minds - have we had a 'no' answer from them? Has anyone at these events asked?

Letter sent at 12:02 AM Eastern- and I really hope thebruce was right about the ending time...

Quote:
"If you are absolutely unable to rendezvous at one of these locations, and you are on my list of trusted allies, please contact Dana [AFTER Thursday's training mission, please!] with your mailing address. She may be able to help."

Well, I may not be on any list of trusted allies, but for what it's worth, Dana, I've been a registered, card-carrying Beekeeper since almost the day you asked for help, hoping that at least this story would have a happy ending. I may not have been much help myself- just sent a few emails to the Princess, a few contributions to some of the more inventive obstacles thrown in the way, a lonely voice asking the other Beekeepers not to condemn you for choosing your aunt over the Princess- but I'd like to think I helped.

And I, unlike many fellow beekeepers, am able to follow simple directions such as "Contact Dana after the training mission." If that happens to count. Smile

So, for what it's worth;

<<EDITED ADDRESS>>

And no, I wasn't able to make it to the proscribed Atlanta rendezvous location. Silly college classes, scheduled at obscene hours of the night.

-<<EDITED NAME>>.

Ok, look. For the last time.

THE PM'S/MICROSOFT REP WERE ASKED. IT IS OK TO COPY THE DVD AS LONG AS YOU DO SO FOR FREE.

So bring back that torrent.

Again, MICROSOFT IS FINE WITH FREE DISTRIBUTION OF THE DVD.

Dragonrider - I, too, am a beekeeper in Albuquerque.

There were about ten axons total in New Mexico, one in the warzone (west side) and the others almost simultaneously at the University of New Mexico. Since then there's practically been no axons whatsoever. Since I live in the heights, I was unable to get to any of the axons in time. Like many of the others, I've been following this from the beginning. Since July. However, being part of the US and unable to access the axons is extremely annoying. I know of a couple other folks who followed the ILB events without being able to attend in reality.

So it's okay to copy the DVD?

If so, I couldn't download the Torrent (says the link doesn't exist). If anyone wants to send me an e-mail, I would gladly send them a blank DVD and a self-addressed-stamped-envelope (SASE). My e-mail address is futuredragonSPLATgmail.com and I would be more than happy to discuss options there.

Luck to all those who got the DVD. Kudos to those of you who could make it.

Thanks, and if anyone could help me out, that would be great.

I, also, have emailed Melissa(? Dana? PMs?) asking if they'd be willing to mail a DVD to Ireland. If they can't, I'll be sniffing around here again. How's the London Axon Hunter crowd going to handle this?
