The video description says 86 just like Entry #85 did. You shouldn't be asking "Who uploaded the video if they're both dead?". You should say, "Tim can't have died if the video was uploaded."

My guess is this is the penultimate entry. I'm on-board with all the Skully people in here too, there's gotta be one last twist or something. Maybe the last video will end with "Regards".

Not being able to watch this entry for four hours nearly killed me. But I've arrived.

Alex got what was coming to him. Maybe he thought he was doing the right thing, but what he did to his friends was unforgivable. That bastard killed nearly all of them and could only think about himself. And in the end, he lost more blood than all of them.

Despite this, only one thing justified his actions - it wasn't his fault. It wasn't even Tim's. It was The Operator. That evil son of a bitch stole everything from him, corrupted him, and changed him entirely. He was controlled until the end, and by then he was nothing more than a shell of who he was. He died unloved, which is the worst way to die. He was a truly tragic character. I loved to hate him, but somehow I couldn't help but feel a tinge of regret when I saw him, bloody and dying, giving one last, desperate plea to save every last victim of The Operator.

Everyone who comes in contact with The Operator will end up dead. This is solid evidence of that. Even if Tim is still alive, he will die like the others. He can't possibly live a normal life after suffering through this entire ordeal. He will either kill himself, or be killed by The Operator. That is the true nature of this enigma - an entity that destroys. It instills fear into our hearts. It changes us. It corrupts our very being until finally, it destroys us. They weren't its only victims. I don't know if even Tim himself realized it when he said it, but I think he meant us. Anyone with knowledge of this entity will be victimized.

"Thousands" will be victimized.

Somehow every recent entry that came out managed to either surpass or equal the one before it. This was no exception. Not only did it surpass #85, it was almost better than #80 to #85 combined. And it's not the last. I can feel it. Something even better is coming.

And we'll be waiting.

So what's TO's motivation again? Confused

To kill things and absorb their brain energy to increase his power and life span.

Y'know, like the Shinigami in Death Note.

^ This is exactly what I thought when I watched the ending.

location warping and Brian

So.. Three things.

1. When Alex wanted to show Tim that Brian was dead, they appeared in the room with Brian's body immediately, as if Alex was able to control where they went. Do we have any evidence of any other character controlling where they teleport?

2. Brian didn't seem like an empty husk when Alex lured him to the hospital. He seemed normal. He did seem curious where the others were. We know Jay changed, but do we have evidence that any of the others who are, "gone" experienced personality changes? Jessica experienced memory loss, but seemed pleasant and cognizant enough. Is Alex projecting his emotional decline on others?

3. Didn't Alex blame Jay for Jessica's being brought into all this? But wasn't she experiencing memory loss before she met Jay at the hotel?

1. I thought he was just in the room that Alex dragged Tim into.

2. It's Tim who accused Brian of being an empty husk.

3. In order: Yes & that depends on what you mean by "Met Jay." When Jay first encounters her in Season 2? That's because she already knew Jay, but forgot due to an Operator Attack. Or when they met up back at the hotel after Alex tried to shoot them? Not that I know of.

I didn't think about us being infected by watching the channel. That's an interesting interpretation. I just thought it was an "It's always possible/there's no way we're the only ones" sort of thing.

Though that brings to mind something that bothers me about The Operator: They found 0 information on it, despite the fact that Alex alone had amassed hundreds of tapes on the thing.

Yes, because Jay pulled Jessica into it. He stole Alex's car keys and demanded Jessica's number, then he told her everything. She went with Jay into the forest in 52 and nearly got shot/directly got involved.

Thinking about it, if for whatever reason Alex let Jessica live (which might be the case due to totheark's "she's still out there" decoded message from one of the videos, she could be spreading things

huh

So Jay and Jessica knew enough other before he lied and told her he was filming a documentary about hotels? I must have forgotten that.

It still doesn't make sense to call Brian an empty husk, based on what we saw. Maybe Tim say something else.

Yeah, after the incident that Marble Hornets described, they met back at the hotel & then The Operator mindwiped them, which totally doesn't fit with this "disease that causes paranoia & violence" thing, but whatever.

Tim's remark makes perfect sense to me.

Couldn't disagree more. Anyone who thought that they couldn't stomach Slenderviolence "so soon" should not have watched. I don't even know what they were waiting for to begin with. "Things to blow over"? What does that even mean? The stabbing isn't going to be undone because they waited 4 weeks to upload instead of 3, or whatever.

Just a final word:

I enjoyed this entry immensly and I'm sure most Marble Hornets fans did as well. But, well, it's not a good look for Marble Hornets and the mythos at large to feature a stabbing or show the violent aftermath so soon after the terrible recent events. It's publicity which the mythos do not need. No rational human being denies that those poor little girls aren't right in the heads, but art seemingly imitating life isn't a good look either. I know Troseph have a lot of demands on their time, but honestly, I think it would have been the best, softening the dramitic impact or not, reshooting the scene and having Alex meet his fate in some other fashion.

That's my final word on the subject.

I havent read through everything, and I'll probably edit this when I have, but it sounds like Alex said "There is another (or one other) and you need to kill them, and yourself"
I dont think its the last entry yet. They could use that comment to open another season if they want to. But it might go for another few entries, I dont know.

Also, this is completely based on the plot, not what they've said OOG

There's no use running.

You see how it spreads.

That makes you the only one, you have to do it yourself.

That's what it sounded like to me. As for who uploaded this, well I mean.... since Hoody is dead and THIS IS at the college...(see pic). Jacob could still be around too. But this should only be considered if A) It's the end or B) Tim left some form of instructions with the camera like the password for the MH account.

Looking back on it I can completely see why THAC held back on releasing this, had it been uploaded much closer to the incident in Wisconsin things would have been hairy. But it was a good Entry, loved the last frame along with the bit with Brian and the first time we see Alex is so awesome.
