Anyone visiting the Ft Worth Theater Location was outta luck

My fianceé and I were accepted to attend the Austin training event,
but a sudden time crunch and her feeling ill led us to have to decline
the invitation. When you told us all about the opportunity to get the
DVD archive, I scanned the list, and was delighted to find there was
one near us: The Eightplex at 4728 Bryant Irvin Road, in Fort Worth!

Well, my fianceé (Sr. Admiral Michelle) was still feeling ill last
night, so she couldn't drive me.(long story short: I'm from NJ, and
before I moved to TX with her, I didn't need a licensce, I just used
public transportation) So I begged my brother-in-law-to-be. Giving him a quick explanation of why I needed to be at this location at 8PM, he grudgingly agreed to take me.

So, I arrive at about quarter to eight, and waited 15 minutes while
the strains of cookie-cutter country music came from the radio.

I walked into the theater, and asked to speak to the manager on duty.

The person I was talking to WAS the manager on duty, and said his name
was Randy.

So, I gave Randy the passcode: "The Operator left something for me."

He seemed confused. I repeated it again. He said "Who?" So I said,
"There should be a DVD waiting for me."

Then a light seemed to go off, and he nodded, and said I was actually
the second person to ask about that.

He told me that though his theater was on the list to get the DVDs, he
didn't recieve any, that the location in Dallas probably had them, but
they never got any. He said it was due to the theater "not having a big audience".

Around this time, anout 6 or 7 Beekeepers showed up, all looking for
the same thing. He called a Lowe's somewhere in Dallas and confirmed
that the Dallas location had copies of the DVD.

Randy then took out business cards and signed his name on the back and
said if went went to the Dallass location and showed those cards, we
would get our DVDs. I tried to explain to him that I couldn't make it
to the Dalls location, I was lucky to be able to get out to the Ft
Worth location, and a beekeeper said that maybe I should email Micosoft. :\

I don't think that'll work.

So, here's hoping I get a winner in the swag lottery.

I was the kid in the hoody, that showed up late and the you guys told us they were out. Anyways we went to the one in Dallas where the guy said they were reserved, they were and we got out dvds. but im disappointed with what was on them. I mean the wav files ive already got, plus pictures ive seen. The only thing new on it was the unused scenes and the farewell message

Now that I'm reading about it...

..I'm seeing that a lfew beekeepers at some of the live training events were able to snag a bunch of extra dvds.

I'd be willing to pay S&H, if someone'd be willing to PM me and I'd send my address.

I mean, I went to the one location I could make it to, and they didn't have what they were supposed to. :(

That sucks, I'm glad I didn't go now. My wife was sick last night so I had to hold down the fort at home, so to speak, but I had been planning on hitting this location after work.

It's too bad that us fans in the Ft. Worth area got hosed like this. Oh well. Sad

Well...

Here's hoping. I sent an email to Dana, along with a scan of both sides of the business card.

Hopefully that'll be enough to convince the powers that be of my plight.
