DOn't forget, as lucid as Alex was at the end, he was still off his nut.

Yeah, the editing & acting were both superb in this, but ironically, due to the nature of the scenes, you can barely understand half* of it!

*=Hyperbole.


I would love to help out with this but I'm not sure if that audio can exactly be isolated or cleared up. If there was a resonant sound in the background preventing us from hearing Alex then I could take out that and isolate his voice but that'd be as much as I could do with my amazing-editing skills :L Alex's voice is the source of the clip and the source itself is coughing and choking meaning that isolating wouldn't do a whole lot. As well as the fact that the device capturing the audio (camera mic) constantly changes direction.

Now I can be completely wrong and people can call me out and prove me wrong, I'm just trying to apply my knowledge of sound design and cameras here.

Possible. Each time I listen to it, I hear "If he's still", though.

I'm more inclined to believe Alex was just explaining what he was doing/planning on doing. Which was kill everyone and then himself. Last words kinda thing.

"you missed one" was obvious mockery towards Alex from Tim, he said it right before he attacked him.

So Brian wasn't killed in entry 51. Instead, it seems like he was probably transformed into Hoody, which caused a lot of trouble for Alex. We now know that Alex was just trying to kill everyone to stop TO (or so he says), but when he was dragging Brian off, surely he could have just killed him. Moreover, why take Brian to an operator hotspot to kill him if you're trying to stop the operator? Is this unexplained or have I missed something else..


My guess is that Alex meant to give The Operator's presence back to Tim and Brian by incapacitating them since he "needs them alive" or whatever although after trying this he decides the best option would be to just kill everyone to get rid of it.

 		Well, seems the time has come where people are just repeating each other again.

But to anyone that thinks this is the last Entry, it isn't. Why? Not because of unanswered question or anything. Simply because: Who uploaded this? No concrete answer? Then there needs to be more. THAC LLC doesn't make shitty products like Paranormal activity. They aren't going to just ignore the media they are using after using it so well for years. I don't care if we get anymore answers. I'm happy with the mystery. And if they just showed the camera being picked up at the very end of this entry, I would have been okay with that mystery too. But as it stands, it can't be done here, even though this would have been a great last entry.

Well whoever it was either did so after the camera ran out of juice, or deliberately omitted the footage of them picking the camera up.

It'd be nice if we get one more TTA that is just a riddle that even when solved doesn't seem to answer anything.

 		If the Operator movie ties into any of this I do believe it would be the most insane opportunity to set things up -- especially with this Entry.

Tim makes mention of there possibly being "hundreds of others -- thousands" as he's searching for Alex, which I saw as a good way of implying that the MH crew aren't the only ones under the Operator's influence. This would be a great opportunity to introduce the idea of the new protagonist in the movie - implying that it can be set in this universe but not necessarily have to use the same cast as MH.

Then there's the whole debate on what Alex and Tim were saying during their last moments to one another; let's suspend uncertainty for a moment and assume that, yes, Tim did say "You missed one" and that Alex did say "You have to kill him, and then yourself" -- implying that there is still one unknown character left that survived all of this. This would also be a reasonable segway for the introduction of this Operator movie protagonist, since the entirety of those spoken lines seemed so mysterious -- if that is what they actually said.

And lastly, "WHO WAS UPLOAD?" No definable proof here, but hey, given the other two things I just speculated on, it'd be neat if this mystery character posted the video, IF Tim is really dead.

If this is the case, I hope they don't hold out on answering major questions about the series just for the sake of setting up the movie. That would make for the most underwhelming ending to the series ever, all because THAC wanted to advertise for The Operator IG.

 		Just to expand on what I said earlier. We don't really have to know who uploaded the entry. We just need to know it wasn't Tim or Alex which means Tim was right and this mess exists with or without them.
