Anybody else see the date and time?

Howdy! I'm a newbie here and am intrigued by your brilliant comments thus far. I just ordered my trip kit today and noticed that when I got on again, I now have a date and a time listed on the trip. Is that an ETA or something? Or time of departure? Have these sort of things happened before?

Also, in many of your posts, folks mention seeing a face on Mars. I must admit that I missed that entirely. I have a little mini-loop that I see when I go on my little trip, but no faces. Sorry if I missed that somewhere.

The face of mars is gone. Why? I don't know.

Oops!

I just found the post where the Face disappeared and Marc explained it had no real relevance to the quest... or whatever this is.

This doesn't seem to be literary or classical at all, it doesn't seem to be overtly philosophical, it doesn't seem to be too mathematically biased yet. It may be computer related because of the .r1 stuff, but it may also be genetically based because of the DNA.

Weird. I dig it in a minimal way. I just don't get it. I think if there are indeed 18 different trips (or sections of trips) that a lot of you have been playing around for awhile with little confirmation of direction and that maybe its time for some sort of 'atta boy' to nudge you in the right direction to maintain the enthusiasm. Maybe the date and the time is heading us to that lift off moment.

In the meantime, I'll keep waiting for one of you to have an Aha moment. I am excited to get my kit and see what - if anything - I can add by tossing a new set of eyes at it.

To be precise, the tel_trips/rectangle page now says "nx.r1 05.30.03 09:45"
I think this is when the second rectangle trip (r2, if you will) will be released. Kinda soon, considering none of us have really "unlocked" r1 yet, but I hardly think it means we have to drop all r1 exploration and start on the new trip straight away.
My own r1 trip is reportedly in the post and I expect it to arrive sometime next week, if all goes well.
But yeah, it's definitely weird the way redkore.com is now expanding again, with the "bridge" and "frame" images back (although no longer with those names). Cydonia is still gone, as are the forums Sad
Now I guess we'll all wait with bated breath for 05.30.03 09:45, but I swear if it turns out to be another "buy my book!" I'm gonna go medieval on someone's arse.............

Any one know what Time Zone that refers to?
Or is it the time on the planet Zog? Smile

Well, maybe I've been shopping at Hunches-R-Usİ but I'm willing to guess it's Boston local time.

Hmm?

That's weird. When I first saw it last night, it was simply the date and the time. Now it has that nx.r1 added.

I have always been of the mind that when Cassady drops the hammer he does it on purpose. Is there anything to be gained from why they thought that clarification was necessary? Obviously the date was not enough.

Like I say... weird.
