That's a good question. Jay returns the medical records to Tim in Entry #63. But we never see the doll then, I think.

One comment on the timeline: The doll also shows up in Entry #60.5, when Jay gives his rundown of what he found in the maintenance tunnel.


Ah yes! But to save space the "items" infographics don't track every appearance of each item, just the interesting appearances (otherwise the cameras would appear everywhere and make things even more cluttered.) I don't think adding Entry #60.5 gives us any more information, except telling us that nobody stole the doll between Entry #60 and Entry #60.5.

I assume Jay kept hold of the doll until at least Entry #73 and Entry #74. It's possible Tim took it after that, as they were sharing motel rooms and Jay was pretty out of it at that time, but to be honest I don't think it's important.


They were likely sharing rooms, etc., earlier, as they not only grew closer after Tim's big revelation that he had been a patient at the hospital but also spent significant time traveling to places from their college days in trying to find significant clues.

I just had a thought: What if the doll was in the pocket of Tim's bag that Tim didn't want Jay to open in Entry #72? It's kind of a useless, unprovable thought.

Do you mean that you don't think the doll's important? I'm not sure about that. I don't think it's "magic" or anything, but it seems to have some connection to all of this.

Yeah, that's what I mean. The doll itself may be important, but given that we've never seen Tim with it I doubt we'll see it again. At this stage I don't think it matters if it's with the rest of Jay's posessions, or if Tim sleeps with it under his pillow each night.

 		Updated for Entry #86! I've changed Alex, Jay, Jessica, Hoody, and Brian to "dead". We've seen their bodies taken, so I think it's obvious enough at this point to say they're dead. Amy, Sarah, and Seth are still missing in action.

 		Updated the main timeline for Entry #87. Jessica's fate has been changed to "Unknown". The items infographic is being revised to work on a per-exchange basis instead of a per-scene basis.

Any feedback/corrections for the infographics greatly appreciated! Pretty soon these will be finalised and if I get time I will turn them into posters. Watch this space!

I think changing Jessica to unknown may be best, but some people have been speculating that the sirens heard in the background as Tim is driving were meant for Jessica. I think Tim fatally injured Jessica as a result of the Operator's influence, which can also be seen in Entry 86 before Tim finishes the job on Alex, but cut that part out of the entry. Also, I think the pills that he took out as he was driving was meant to kill himself with. He uploaded the entry using a laptop, and possibly went to overdose in the forest.

Plus, the thumbnails for Entry #87 are stills from #86.

Hi! Sure, I was erring on the side of doubt with Amy, but given that Alex doesn't contradict Tim then it's pretty clear cut. Thumbnails updated too.
