I don't get why all this should be so hard... imho, it has been all layed out for you, you just have to combine the above tips into a comlete, captivating story.

So you take drizjr's storyline about the dog getting hit by the SUV, but you replace the dog by a ducky, and the SUV by a dancing robot, possibly a mute one, and in the end, it all turns out to be one big ARG that in the end rewards you for playing with a nice colorful Mexican blanket.

Hi! I am a high school student is writing a script for our video class project which is a 10 minute short movie. I need help thinking of a story. Any Ideas? I like movies like Mean Girls so tell me what you think I should write for my film. Thanks.

As they always say - write what you know. Is there some subject you understand that you have somethijng to say about?

I say this because any ideas you need to write with heart and soul and that can't come from just a random idea from others.
